When I woke up the next day, I had decided on my pns for the day. For the time being, I really want to deal with the seal on my swordsmen css, which seems to be pretty easy for now. I haven't fought any monsters yet, so this would be a first for me.

  From what I learned, the adventures guild is a good pce to learn about the locations of monsters, so I headed there first.

  I quickly put on my new adventure clothes, and head out of my inn.

  “Oh, None, going out for the day” Amelia said to me, seeing me in the hallway.

  “Good morning Amelia. Yes I am” I tell her.

  “Well, good luck with your adventure. I myself have work today” she told me.

  “Oh… what is it that you do normally? I’m guessing it isn’t just helping amnesiacs buy clothes.” I ask her as we start walking out of the inn.

  “It actually pretty much is that, though not always to amnesiacs like yourself. Normally I am a middle man to pces where certain goods are hard to fine, selling them to remote pces. Or Buying goods from them to be sold here. If I am not doing that, I am a private shopper for the more, how to put it, rich clients at the department store” She told me. “In that since, I was shopping for you under the position Mr Henry”

  “Oh…” I said, feeling weird. I knew that she was only helping me because of Henry telling her to, but it made me sad that she was talking about it like this, like it was just her job.

  “Hmm, interesting” Amelia said under her breath, so I couldn’t hear her.

  As we left the inn, we went our separate ways and I went to the guild building. While walking through town, I put the hood of my coat up, so that people couldn't see my face. I don’t really know why, but this made it easier for me to go through the crowded areas of the city.

  It made being in town much easier for me.

  It took me only a few minutes to get to the guild building, and when I went in, it was the same as yesterday. People looking for work, or drinking in what I learned was the bar part of the building. This was not only a pce for people to find work, but also parties to take on harder work.

  But I was only interested in killing monsters, not even for the money. I mean, I need to make money, but it was not the most important thing.

  So I walk right up to a receptionist in the guild.

  “Welcome to the adventures guild, how may I help you?” the receptionist asked.

  “Um, I am looking for an area with a lot of monsters. Is there any pce like that around here?” I asked them.

  “Um, yes, but what tier is your css, just to know what level of monsters you should be taking on”

  “It’s still tier 6” I say, knowing that it is not a good representation of the truth, but good enough.

  “Hmm, well normally I would recommend a dungeon, since it creates a lot of monsters. But there are no tier 6 dungeons. Your best bet is going to be hunting in the wild”

  “BUt, let's say I’m dumb. Is there, let's say, a tier 5 dungeon nearby?” I ask, hoping they will just answer my question.

  “There is, but once again, it is not recommended for someone of your tier”

  “PLease?” I ask, giving it one st chance.

  “Hmm, there is one” They say, pulling out a map of the area. “It is the cradle of thorns, an area formed by several nests of Thorny, a pnt monster that is around tier 5-6, so that would be the best suggestion for someone of your tier, if you have a high rank as well” they told me while showing me where the dungeon was on the map.

  Looking at the map, I got a notification from [God's Gaze].

  “Thank you. This is very helpful” I told them and walked out of the guilds building. With the map inside of God's gaze, I was ready to deal with this dungeon.

  I didn’t really know how the dungeons worked, but from my understanding, they were pces with a rge amount of monsters being born inside, creating a lot of nests. A nest is a gathering of the same monster in an area.

  THis dungeon was in the forest to the north of the city, around the field I was in yesterday. Somewhere in there, there should be a somewhat unnatural cave formed.

  That cave is the dungeon.

  There is a good chance that I am not the only person who is going to be in the dungeon. Dungeons formed and were conquered a lot. Low tier ones shouldn’t be a very big of a deal, and most people going to it won’t be trying to conquer it, but instead to go up in tier, I think.

  As I also don’t want to clear it, since I need to kill a lot of monsters, this should be fine.

  It was expined to me yesterday, that each monster, when it dies, drops a small crystal that can be sold for money, and a dungeon core is the same. But a tier 5 dungeon core would only be around D rank, and not worth enough, compared to the tier 4, which become s around B Rank.

  This was simir to the way that adventures ranked up as well. A tier 6 css meant that you were solidly in the F rank, but even going to tier 5, something that at most would take a few weeks or a month, jumps you to E rank. Then for D rank, you needed to be around halfway to your next advancement, which I wasn’t sure how they judged. C rank was when you hit the next advancement for tier 4. B rank was again about halfway through that one, and you got to A rank when you hit tier 3. For the S rank, you needed a tier 2 css, or a S rank tier 3 css. Then there was the elusive SS Rank and SSS rank, two things that only exist for prosperity, since they also exist for csses. Apparently it is simir to the previous S tier, where either you need to have a Tier 1 css, a near impossibility, or you need to prove you had a SS or SSS ranked css at tier 2.

  Since technically, I had a SSS ranked css, I had no clue where I would fall, but lying was fine for me. But I knew that also meant I could probably deal with monsters a lot easier. Which meant I could probably get to the next tier a lot faster than anyone else. But who knows how my seals compare to the normal growth patterns.

  As I got to the forest, I slowed down a little, to take in the scenery a little. I had been here for a few days now, and it was becoming more and more clear to me how beautiful I found pces like this.

  When I think back on it, I thought it was a very scenic pce when I first woke up. And my walk before finding the attached carriage was nice as well.

  FInding the flowers yesterday was nice as well.

  Even just looking at the city from my inn was nice.

  I knew what I was thinking about, since there was one common thread.

  I don’t think I like crowded pces, or maybe just other people.

  But then I think about shopping with Amelia, or Tessa expining the status to me were nice.

  While I was thinking about this, I found the cave I was looking for. Outside of it were a number of adventures talking to each other, but no one paid me any mind. They were busy making a pn for going into the dungeon, but I also didn’t care about them.

  And I walked into the cave.
