(A rather late update on the hiatus: I got stunlocked by the sudden ability to present my ideas to an audience, side-tracked by a cover-art-making frenzy, went through on-and-off periods of writing and burnout, side-tracked again by my 472 other hobbies suddenly getting the hyperfocus treatment, and overall have been overwhelmed in all the worst ways for me specifically to be overwhelmed. To top that all off, I now believe Wall Core to be out of date to my current writing ability, so I''''m certain I''''ll end up rewriting the thing too. I really would have liked to at least gotten the entire beginning story arc out in its entirety before this mess, but alas, the hiatus will almost certainly continue to be in effect.)
