In a world of rampaging monsters rising beneath the earth, there are people that fight them on a daily basis. They''''re called Arcanists, special people with god given strength and abilities. Our protagonist Randy is on a journey to find a cure for the curse that has been inflicted upon him and those he cared about. He only became an Arcanist to inquire something about a cure because only those within the Arcane Order have access to these kind of knowledge. If he fails to get the cure on time, more monsters will forever hunt Randy and others that has been inflicted by the curse until they die.
