The first thing I remember is an emptiness.

  It's strange, but true, it really was nothing.

  My consciousness was a small light inside of this nothingness. But as I became more and more aware of the nothingness, I found something else.

  And I breakthrough that something else.

  To which, I opened my eyes.

  I found myself in an unfamiliar pce, not that I would find anypce familiar.

  I was lying on a tree in the shade atop a hill. Something felt somewhat picturesque about the scene, like someone had pned this or something.

  Above my head, I saw some type of flying creature in the distance. On the ground around me was a note and a sword.

  The sword drew my attention first, mainly because it was almost completely broken. The bde was dull and chipped, the handel was falling apart, and looked like it was one use away from falling apart.

  Then my attention moved to the note next to it.

  Opening it, I saw a short note to seemingly written for me from someone.

  ‘You should be near a town. Enjoy life’

  That was all it said.

  It seemed kind of rude that what ever was happing to me didn’t confirm that I was close to a town, or gave me a better weapon, but well, it seems rude to think it was rude.

  Standing up for the first time, I pick up the sword and try to find this alleged town I was allegedly near.

  And thankfully, I found a road about a mile away from the tree. Taking a 50/50 shot on the road, I headed away from the mountain range and forest I saw in the distance.

  I mean, who makes a town at the boarder of one of those things. And if you did, shouldn’t you build one connected at the other side of the road as well.

  Perfect reasoning.

  Starting down the road, I tried to figure some stuff out.

  But something nags at the back of my head for a while as I make my way down the road.

  Its a few hours before I find something else to think about.

  In the distance, I hear the sounds of screaming.

  Hearing this, my body moves on its own and runs towards the sounds I hear. As I run, my body gets the weird feeling though my limbs and I notice the ndscape around me blur slightly as I make it to the screaming I heard really quickly.

  Doing so gets two interesting thoughts at once.

  Ok, I got here in time to help.

  How did I get here so quickly?

  Both acceptance and denial at once. Like part of me knew what was going on, but another part thought something was wrong.

  Ignoring this for as long as I can, I pull out my sword and try to find what is going on here.

  Quickly I found out what was going on. A few men were attacking this carriage. Somewhat lucky, a person wielding a sword of his own was defending against the attackers, defending the other man sitting in the carriage.

  Deciding to help the person defending the carriage, I step into the fight, just in time to stop an attack from one of the attackers.

  “Hgh” the person grunts as I block their attack.

  “?μɑu?? ?o? ?μ? μ??b” the man I helped said to me in some nguage I did not understand. I wasn’t sure what he was saying, I mean as far as I know, he was pissed I had stepped in.

  If I was right, he could yell at me ter, after I saved his life.

  Quickly moving, I pray the attack I had blocked, pushing the attacker back.

  Then quickly stepping forward, I cut the man down the middle, killing him instantly. The way I used the sword renewed part of my confusion. I shouldn’t know how to use a sword, but the movement felt natural to me.

  Now having to deal with a dead comrade, the other two attackers move forward towards me, trying to avenge their dead. But, like the one who attacked before them, I deal with them just as easily.

  Now with three dead on my hands, I turn around to talk to the two people I had just saved.

  “Ho?λ C?ɑb, ?μɑu?? ?o? ?μ? μ??b. ?on ?ɑ??q n?” the person holding his sword said to me. ONce again, I did not understand what he was saying.

  Then the man jumped down from the carriage and came over to the two of us.

  “?μɑ? ?ɑ? ɑwɑz?u? wλ ?ooq wɑu. Mμɑ? ???? cɑu I qo ?o ??bɑλ λon?”

  “What?” I said, super confused by what they were trying to tell me. But before they could say anything else, something rung through my head.

  Kind of like my thoughts but also different.

  Rubbing my head in confusion from the words that resounded in my head, I overheard the others talking again.

  “Excuse me, is everything alright?” the one who I helped fight off the dead guys said.

  “Um, yeah. What were you just saying?” I said, gesturing towards the man who was in the carriage.

  “HA, I said that what you had done was amazing, and asked what I could ever do to repay you” the man said.

  “Oh, well, can you show me to the nearest town, I am kind of lost” I told them.

  “Ha, that is too little to repay my savior. But it will make a good start” the man said. “I am Henery Card, and I run the Card Trading Company.”

  “And I am Jacob, an adventure working for Mr. Card. What's your name?” the person I fought alongside says to me.

  And before I can answer, I realize something.

  As the nameless person woke up in the world, several changes were happening all across the world of Ordinal.

  IN the holy Empire of Yostaval, the summoned hero of ages trains with his companions for his fight against the void encroaching on the world.

  IN the elven forest, the hero of the wild prepares part of his pn, about half a century in the making.

  In the Dragon's Absolution Field, the dragon king prepares for his next crusade against the world, hoping to finally end it.

  In the netherworld, the demon kings await the upcoming war of desotion they always fight.

  Within the divine realm, a new gaze has been added to the countless angels looking upon the world.

  Within a lost forest, a vampire queen once sealed by a hero is released, and takes up her pns once more.

  Several nations prepare for whatever may come with the heroes appearance.

  The worshipers of the void celebrate the return of their two leaders, and their coming destruction of the human realm.

  The only pce where nothing changes is within the void itself. No matter the fear humanity has in it, it has not changed in a long time.

  And it never will.
