Chapter 155: Representing Justice to Destroy You!
Initially, Alex thought that after suffering heavy losses, these people would leave immediately. But reality proved he had uimated human foolishness. Despite being besieged by both the Xenomorphs and Predators, the group maroup and even killed a Xenomorph. Alex assumed they would retreat at this point, but to his disbelief, they decided to venture deeper into the pyramid after a brief discussion.
What kind of logic was this?
Alex was utterly dumbfounded. He had always believed that protagonists in movies who knowingly walked into danger did so because of plot requirements. But this wasn’t a movie! Who were they risking their lives to impress?
Currently, the situation ihe pyramid stood as follows: the expedition team had 16 members remaining. There were four inal Xenomorphs, two Predators, and seven Xenomorphs under Alex’s Zerg trol—having killed one Predator and three Xenomorphs earlier, their corpses were ied with Zerg genes and evolved into four additional Xenomorphs.
Numerically, the humahe advantage, but it was meaningless. Moments ago, four team members were attacked by Facehuggers. Additionally, two others were injured by Alex’s Zerg Xenomorphs, their shoulders and arms pierced by spines. It was only a matter of time before they became Xenomorph food.
“Why aren’t we leaving?”
Walking through the dim corridor, the team leader, a woman, gred at the older man beside her with frustration. She had repeatedly suggested they leave, but the group always seemed to do the opposite of her advice. The first time they exited the pyramid, she urged them to return to the ship. However, when reinforts arrived, they chose to delve deeper instead. Now, after being attacked and killing a creature, ah on sense would reize the danger. Yet, they pressed on.
“We ’t leave now, Miss,” the older man, Weynd, said with an unusual flush of excitement on his aged face.
Uhe pale-faced team leader, Weynd was exhirated. Just moments ago, the team’s archaeologist deciphered the pyramid’s records, revealing the retionship between the Predators, Xenomorphs, and humans. The expedition team now khat the cloaked hunters might be ected to the ins of human civilization.
How could Weynd not be thrilled? Although these beings didn’t appear to be humanity’s creators, they had seeded human civilization. And now, these "beings" had appeared here in person!
“If we establish tact with those emissaries, we might be able to unicate with them!” Weynd’s voice grew more animated.
At his age, Weynd had little i in material pursuits. Instead, he was obsessed with studying humanity’s ins and history, dreaming of leaving a sting legaow, not only had he discovered a pyramid lio human civilization, but he had also entered extraterrestrial "emissaries."
“But they don’t look like they want to unicate with us,” the team leader replied skeptically.
After all, one of the cloaked creatures had brutally killed two soldiers right before their eyes. Who knew if they wouldn’t be ?
“You heard the professor! They revere ce and strength. Right now, the pyramid is crawling with those terrifying bck creatures. There’s no way just two of those extraterrestrial emissaries elimihem all. If we help them eradicate these creatures, they might reize us and eh us! This is a on-a-lifetime discovery for humanity!”
Of course, the soldiers weren’t motivated solely by Weynd’s grandiose vision. The promise of a hefty payout was enough to persuade them to risk their lives. Surviving this ordeal would mean a carefree future.
As for the team leader and a few others, they had no desire to tihis suicidal mission. But they were outnumbered and outgunned. Without the heavily armed soldiers, they wouldn’t survive long enough to escape. Left with no choice, they relutly followed along.
At the same time, Alex had no attention to spare for the reckless expedition members. He had just received an update from Ikaros—the Predator mothership had nded outside the pyramid, clearly waiting for the victor to emerge.
Here es the Predator Mothership!
Hearing Ikaros' report, Alex’s heart stirred with excitement. He had been eyeing the Predator mothership for a long time. On the hunting p, he had mao capture only a feredator ships, as most of the others were self-destructed by Ikaros.
Alex had always wanted a true Predator battleship. He still remembered how, in Alien vs. Predator, this mothership’s onry could pierce thick ice yers i and nd precisely at the pyramid. This demonstrated the Predators’ advaeology. If he could take it back for research, it would at least help the Zerg be better prepared.
Besides… massive warships and ons had always been a man’s romance!
Moreover, Alex had another idea. After pleting the Homend mission, this dimension would bee a free world. Since he ma a bck cat from the Cicada Song world, could he als this battleship out? Oh, the thought of piloting a Predator mothership in the main world was thrilling!
If it worked, Alex wouldn’t have to care about the ti in the main world anymore. Fet the Holy Church or any other fa—he could just explore the stars on a whim.
But what kind of os would the main world’s universe have? Was it an infinite expanse?
Never mind. That was a question for ter.
Tossing aside his fantasies, Alex snapped back to reality, a smirk f on his lips.
These Predators treated Earth as their hunting ground. In the movies, they supposedly upheld fairness and justice, respeg the strong and refraining from interfering with trials—what a joke!
Fair and just? A fully armed Predator with energy ons hunting unarmed humans? How was that fair? If they had any real guts, they’d ditch the armor, disable cloaking, and fight bare-handed for 300 rounds.
As a Holy Padin, Alex would dispense justice today. He would rid the gaxy of these savage bandits. And to prevent further atrocities, the Predator mothership, with its ons of mass destru, would be fiscated and not returned.
With that thought, Alex closed his eyes, letting psioniergy spread outward. Soon, the image of the Predator mothership appeared in his mind. Log onto an optimal nding spot, he quickly issued orders.
“Luna, recall all Zerg Xenomorphs. Leave those fools in the pyramid to fight it out among themselves. We have more important matters to attend to!”
“Yes, Master!”
At the Hive Queen’s call, the rampaging Zerg Xenomorphs swiftly regrouped and gathered around Alex. Once his forces were assembled, Alex gave Ikaros the and.
“Ikaros, prepare to lock the Predator mothership’s power and on systems. Disable their unicatiowork.”
“Done!”
“Excellent.”
Hearing Ikaros' response, Alex nodded. Drawing the sword at his waist, the Void Bde, he g the Xenomorphs and Hive Queen surrounding him before sshing fiercely.
“Shua!”
In an instant, the se before Alex transformed. In a fsh of light, he and his Xenomorphs appeared in a vast, metallic hall. The room seemed like a trol ter, and the Predators operating the ship’s systems turheir heads in shock to face the uninvited guests. It was clear they had no idea how Alex and his team had silently boarded the ship, let alone reached their location.
But Alex had no iion of expining.
“Attack!”
With a single and, Alex raised the Void Bde and sshed toward the Predator.
