  The tiger's sharp claws dug into the glass of the window in between its attempts at forcing itself through the door. This man didn't deserve this power if he planned to use it like that.

  「 Primary game, A New Life for Homo Sapiens, information has been published. 」

  I clicked the glowing 'YES' button and the notification expanded.

  I tapped the 'REVEAL' button in case that information was useful, plus the two hooligans surely got this as well so they'd be distracted.

  Well, that was sort of useless - I skipped all the sections with a title I already heard of so I only read points 1, 4, and 5. I was excited about the patron program though, I could do with some Stellar Abilities if my Stellar Forms were going to be that useless. Now that there was nothing new to look at for the players, the tiger came back to hunt us down. Wait a second...

  「 Stellar Form, Aspect Insight, has activated. 」

  「 Your Stellar Aspect has gathered enough aether to advance to a new level. 」

  「 Astral Wanderer has levelled up! Level 1 -> Level 2 」

  「 Aspect Insight has advanced. 」

  「 Stellar Form 3 is now unlocked. 」

  「 Stellar Form 4 is now unlocked. 」

  「 Your Stellar Aspect still despises you. 」

  FINALLY!

  "I got my new forms!"

  "Shut up before they hear you... but congrats."

  Anticipating my new abilities, I opened up the menu.

  "Could've been better."

  "What did you get?"

  "One is basically a barrier so that'll be useful in case we end up trapped and one is an auto-dodge."

  "Thank god, using the barrier won't be helpful for now."

  "I did say that'd it only help in case we got trapped.."

  "Now you're gonna safely be able to distract the guy."

  "It can get outmatched by speed though."

  "We should be fine, he doesn't look like the type to use speed."

  I just remembered.

  "Can we talk about what happened in the secondary game?"

  "Now isn't the best time."

  The tiger pounced at the door again. Had to give it to Khai, now wasn't the best time.

  "We need to give you a break so you can recharge, I'll use the barrier now which will buy you time. Plus, we could negotiate with them."

  "I guess that could work."

  "I'll begin creating it, tell me when the tiger is away from the door and I'll put it up."

  「 Stellar Form, Armillary Sphere, has activated. 」

  My hands were forced in front of me and they rubbed the air like a crystal ball. I saw the strings of stars form and dance in the space my hands sectioned. By spreading out my hands, I assumed that the rings would be bigger. I spread them out about 20 centimetres and the strings continued to dance freely in the enlarged space.

  "Ok I'm ready now, go look."

  Khai got up - Ichor Infusion still activated just in case - and went towards the door. The tiger was on the other side of the street and was about to pounce yet again.

  "Now!"

  I let the rings of stars escape from my control and they shot out, covering the entire dental clinic building and half of the street. The layer of aether they created illuminated the area in a faint purple light.

  CRASH!

  The tiger's body slammed against the barrier and we ran out of the building after quickly pushing the door barricade away. Although one was supposed to form every 0.1 seconds, I only counted 15 rings. Probably a limit they failed to mention.

  Its eyes were shining red, a sign of being controlled, for a moment before the man let go of the tiger's mind and walked up to us. His aura was more intimidating than Ervant's because, unlike Ervant, he'd happily kill us at this moment.

  "What do you want with us?"

  Khai spoke for us both.

  "We want to befriend you."

  "Drop it, we know that's a lie."

  I interjected, I wouldn't let him trick Khai although he could just use Heaven's Seer.

  "How would you know?"

  "I just do."

  "Well, I say I'm saying the truth."

  「 'Heaven's Seer' has confirmed that statement to be true. 」

  "He's saying the truth, Wyatt."

  "He has a mental shield ability."

  "You found that out? Ah, I see. You have some sort of character-reading ability, don't you? How would you know if I'm lying or not then?"

  "I watched you plan to trick us this way."

  "You just tried to use Speech Influence on me didn't you?"

  Khai interjected this time, and it wasn't a simple question; it was a demand.

  "Fine, fine, I'll come clean. We're here to slaughter you and steal everything you have for ourselves. Happy with that answer?"

  "Good luck with that, I won't let you harm either of us."

  "That's fine, they all say that anyway."

  He already killed others? I trembled at that ominous yet positive remark. I think now was the time to use the advanced version of Aspect Insight.
