XIII Years Ago

  We open with Yoni sitting at a table, watching two of her sisters, Eili and Lorenza playing chess on the balcony. They are all members of the Li Cadenzo family, one of the richest families in Rome.

  As Yoni watches her sister Lorenza clean house as she normally does, she continues staring off into the city below, but her Father, Leo Li MCadenzo, approaches her while she's deep in thought.

  Leo: Hey Yoni, what troubles you?

  Yoni: What do you mean by that?

  Leo: You've just been staring at the city, you only do that when something's bothering you?

  Yoni: Something is bothering me, that's no secret

  Leo: Well what is it?

  Yoni: There are stories you tell me, paintings mom paints, that tell me of a grander past, my Grandmother was one of the most daring adventurers in known memory and my Grandfather was known for his outspokenness and how he rejected his birth family and took his wife's name, our family used to be daring and bold.

  Leo: Well that was a more glorious era, there's no reason to be so daring and brash

  Yoni: Our family has lucky blood and Fortune favors the bold, we're supposed to be daring by nature

  Leo: Yoni, you are twelve!! You know nothing of the dangers of adventuring.

  Yoni: Well shouldn't we at least try to help the poor, I see them struggle on the streets every single day.

  Leo: Our hands are tied there too, Our family made promises and obligations, helping those people was NOT one of those obligations

  Yoni: But we could do so much more than sit in stagnation

  The other Li Cadenzo sisters emerge on the scene

  Eili: What's this talk of doing good?

  Leo: Yoni is too idealistic for her own good

  Lorenza: Allow her to dream big for now, when she settles into her role in our family, she'll forget these dreams

  Yoni: But I don't want to forget!!

  Eili: I know you won't, you're not like that

  Leo: Yoni, these dreams..must remain as only dreams

  Before Yoni could say another word, everyone left the room

  The Present Day

  Yoni is sulking in her family's treasure vault, she's doing inventory on it, looking at all the treasures her grandmother obtained on her adventures, one artifact is missing, The Chalice of Bacchus.

  Yoni: Oh dad, one harmless party trick item goes missing and you go ballistic

  Yoni continues looking at the vault, it's one of the largest in the RVT or Roman Vault Tower, where the riches of Rome are under constant surveillance and guard

  Suddenly, a noise comes from outside the vault

  Yoni: What was that?

  Yoni grabs the Midanian Gauntlets, and begins scaling the vault, she is now on top if the vault, connected to the tower by a chain

  Yoni: Hello…

  Suddenly, a group of Centennials with Jetpacks appear

  Yoni: Sinners Sextant?

  More appear around Yoni before their leader emerges

  Ayev: You assume correctly Yoni Li Cadenzo

  Yoni: What's your business in here, I thought the debacle with the Adamite Key left you guys out of commission?

  Ayev: That's none of your concern

  Yoni: Ok, so you guys stole The Chalice of Bacchus

  Ayev is caught off guard by the aqcusation, confirming Yoni's suspicions

  Yoni: I thought petty theft was above your paygrade?

  Ayev: Times are tough, you've got to have some sympathy for the little guys…

  Yoni: Listen if you're gonna ask for handouts doing so by breaking into where all the money is not how you do it

  Ayev: How about I cut the small talk and tell you that I do not care about your feelings, disabled all the surveliance systems and can take whatever I want

  Yoni: How about I cut your big talk and tell you to fuck off

  At this Ayev, began to lose their temper

  Ayev: Who are YOU to tell me what to do, I have an army and you do not!!

  Yoni: Ok so are you gonna leave or not?

  The Sinners Sextant point their weapons at Yoni

  Almost on cue, Faithful Night, an elite strike team of four Centennials, slides down the chain to join Yoni on the platform

  Faithful Night consists of Elybe, Monact, Dassu and Wjenx, they were fast and able freelancers but have since joined The Century Corps

  Ayev: No…anyone but you four

  Elybe: You expected someone else but instead it was me, Elybe!

  Yoni: I don't know who you are?

  Elybe: The name's Elybe!

  Wjenx: I'm Wjenx

  Monact: Call me Monact

  Dassu: Dassu!!

  Yoni: Ok cool

  Ayev: You four…here!!

  Elybe: Well old friend you've been a bad dude up to bad stuff so we're here to put you away

  Wjenx: Surrender now, don't make this harder then it already is

  Yoni: We're you people friends or something?

  Monact: Ask your questions later

  Ayev: I don't wish to fight you…Sextant, Retreat

  Dassu: Wait no come back!!

  Ayev and The Sextant Fly away

  Wjenx: Well let's go after them

  Yoni: Yeah we're gonna totally chase them down

  Monact: We?

  Yoni: Yeah, we, you, me and everyone else

  Monact: Kid you're not part of this

  Yoni: I'm 25

  Wjenx: You're just a citizen and Ayev is a terrorist

  Yoni: One who stole something from my family and one who's your friend if I understand your words correctly

  Elybe: Ayev was our friend once upon a time…

  Monact: Look our operation to retrieve The Chalice doesn't need a variable like you gunking things up

  Dassu: You really just better off telling your father we on the case

  Yoni: Did you mean to leave out your "are's"

  Dassu: ….

  Wjenx: They can't say "are" and we're done talking to you

  Yoni: Did my father also tell you to stop me from joining you on your mission

  Monact: No that's my call, this is serious business

  Elybe: Would it really hurt to have another person around?

  Dassu: Elybe! We. Not. Supposed. To. Endanger. Civilians!!

  Yoni: I'm not an ordinary civilian, I've got the Midanian Gauntlets and Lady Fortuna on my side

  Elybe: What do you mean by that?

  Yoni: Fortune favors the bold my friends

  Monact: We're not friends

  Wjenx: You're too stubborn for your own good, FINE, come along with us if you wish, but don't slow us down

  Yoni: Sweet!!

  Elybe: I guess welcome aboard

  Monact: This is a bad bad idea, Veto, VEETOOOOO

  Dassu: Overruled

  Monact: But-

  Yoni: No further questions

  Monact: C'mon guys you're not actually considering bringing this joker along with us…

  Elybe: Majority rule!

  Monact: Bro come on

  Yoni: So sweet, what's next?

  Monact: We go up to the Sinners Sextant and we find out who they're working for

  Elybe: Sounds like a plan

  Dassu: Let's go

  Yoni: But uh, we gotta get out of here first

  Begin Descending down The Treasure Vault

  When the Party is 33% of the way down, some members of Sinners Sextant appear and begin harassing the team

  Yoni: Aw sweet action

  Monact: You should leave most of the fighting to us as it's dang-

  Before Monact could finish their sentence, Yoni jumped onto one of the mercenaries punching them with the gauntlets, turning their armor into gold with every attack

  Wjenx: I'm beginning to like that kid

  Fight against The Sextant

  When you win

  Dassu: She's pretty good at this whole fighting thing

  Yoni: I can throw one heck of a punch!

  Monact: You are a rookie!

  Elybe: One who's really good for a rookie

  Wjenx: Ok ok don't give the kid an ego

  Yoni: I'm 25!!

  Wjenx: I'm 807

  Yoni: Ok…so I seem a little young to you

  Wjenx: I am 782 years your superior

  Yoni: Ok senior citizen

  Monact: See this girl is nothing but trouble

  Elybe: It's endearing!

  Monact: Graaaah agree with me!!

  Elybe: No

  Dassu: Arguing like a married couple

  Elybe: We are married

  Dassu: Oh…I forgot

  Monact: You've known us for years how did you forget

  Dassu: I'm an IDIOT, remember?

  Monact: Right…right…

  Wjenx: Jeez dude

  Yoni: Funny banter

  Monact: Stop

  Continue down the tower

  When you are LXVII% down the tower, another wave of The Sextant attack

  Yoni: I'll give em the what for, the one two combo

  Yoni punches one mercenary in the stomach and then again in the face

  Elybe: Looks like you're having fun

  Yoni: Well I never went on a real adventure before so I'm enjoying myself

  Monact: This isn't a game Yoni, people's LIVES are at stake

  Yoni: Well they always are, you don't have to tell me about people's lives being in danger, I've just grown numb to it becuase I couldn't do anything about it for the longest time

  Monact: What do you mean by that?

  Yoni: When you meet the rest of my fanily you'll understand

  Elybe: Huh

  Wjenx: Kid we got bad guys around tell us your tragic backstory or whatever later

  Yoni: Yes grandma

  Wjenx: Never call me that again

  Yoni: You got it boss

  Sinners Sextant Member I: "Bad guys"

  Sinners Sextant Member II: Just roll with it

  Fight against The Sinners Sextant again

  When you win, Yoni throws a powerful punch that generates a poweful magic blast

  Wjenx: You're a wizard?

  Yoni: Not really, my family just has magic blood or something like that

  Monact: This was the worst idea

  Elybe: Come on Monact, it's gone fine so far

  Dassu: Yeah it's mostly been a nuetral choice so far

  Monact: I will DISAGREE VEHEMENTLY

  Elybe: So you're a non-believer?

  Yoni: They wouldn't be the first

  Monact: Trite

  Wjenx: Monact is being a downer, nothing's changed

  Elybe: Heh

  Monact: Oh you people

  Dassu: This is a republic not a kingdom

  Monact: Oh who cares what we are

  Yoni: Clearly you do

  Dassu: Let's just leave

  Yoni: Good idea

  Yoni jumps off the vault

  Monact: I HATE HER GRAAAAH

  Continue down the treasure tower

  When the team reaches the bottom, they leave the tower and see discarded cores from Sextant suits

  Elybe: Sextant fled into the city proper looks like

  Monact: We are…going to find them…and KILL THEM

  Yoni: Are you always this intense

  Monact: Yes

  Wjenx: Monact we might want to leave them alive?

  Monact: So they can come back and try to kill us AGAIN, no thanks

  Dassu: Monact you have a rigid worldview

  Suddenly, Yoni's personal hologram begins to ring

  Yoni: Let me take this

  Elybe: Sure

  Yoni presses the button, and a hologram of one of her sisters appear

  Lorenza (Over Hologram): Yoni!! What were you doing fighting against Sinners Sextant!

  Yoni: Oh boy

  Dassu: Family drama!!

  Lorenza (Over Hologram): Is that the Century Corps with you?
