Unfortunately for Chamber, the o Shift es too much of his Demoniergy. Only 5 minutes have passed in his perspective and half of his reserves have already beeed.
‘Maybe because I used it with a maximum input.’ Chamber whispered under his breath, theorizing the reason behind the high ption.
After all, acc to the information in his mind that he received whe the os Requiem, he adjust the time flow of his body, and he was using one hundred pert of the o Shift, hehe extremely high ption.
‘No wonder even a High-css Vampire took 30 seds to react.’ Chamber cluded and decided to take it a bit slow, redug the o Shift from one hundred pert to ten pert.
Finally, not only was the ption reduced signifitly, almost like a drop every sed, but the movement of the vampires increased, reag their average speed, albeit they’re still slower than normal.
“Y-You’re not a normal human!” The remaining vampires, which had been reduced from thousands to mere hundreds, started to back away out of fear, looking at Chamber as if he were their biggest nightmare.
“Who said I was?” Chamber replied with a fused tone.
“That move must’ve ed too much of his mana! Get him!” Finally, one smart vampire realized the reason why Chamber stopped and appeared in front of them instead of tinuing his onsught.
In which, the smart vampire was right.
“That’s right! Get him! I want him dead and groveling on the ground!” The cowardly leader then came out from hiding behind Arid poi Chamber as if he was the one who figured it out.
The vampires didn’t notice this or just probably didn’t care and simply rushed towards Chamber one by one.
In Chamber’s eyes, the vampires were running at average human speed, still giving him an advantage in this battle.
“I seriously o increase my disciples, I ’t keep taking care of these kinds of simple things,” Chamber muttered to himself after dodging one of the vampire’s cws.
With a swift movement of his Tao Mandas, a head was sliced off.
However, the vampires, fident in their advantage in number, tio pour in, although their number has been reduced from thousands to hundreds, that doesn't mean their number is small.
If the person they’re fag is one man, then hundreds of vampires are many.
Unfortunately for them, they’re fag off against a one-man army instead.
Aric, seeing that their enemy is not a normal wizard, decided to join the fray. As the stro vampire, his presence would signifitly increase the morale and might turables in the vampires’ favor.
“Lord Dami-Dracu. Please stay here while I hahe human.” After giving the advice that is more like an order to the Tepes fa’s current leader, Aric quickly jumped in and directly fronted Chamber, not b to wait for Damien’s response.
“Aric! Don’t leave me, you o guard me!” Damien, fetting the inal pn of striking Chamber once Aric weakens him, now the only thing he worries is if Chamber would suddenly pull the previous stunt he did earlier and directly target him.
After all, that’s how it is when it es to war, right? The enemy would undoubtedly strike the important leader to decrease morale and increase the ces of winning.
Chamber, who was busy plug heads left and right, finally entered the final boss. No, he’s not talking about the cowardly leader, who is now hiding inside one of the houses, oh dear god, no.
He’s talking about the old servant, whose presence alos pressure on Chamber.
‘This guy’s strohan the elder.’ Chamber cluded once again, from the looks of it—1 the old servant was simply suppressing himself earlier, only deg to go all out once he’s out otlefield.
“It’s Aric!” The vampires, oher hand, cheered after seeing their stro joitle.
“Finally! Now the wizard is dead!” One vampire cpped his hands and licked his lips as he uttered.
“Don’t cheer you fools!” Aric scolded them, fring his sharp fangs at them, causing them to zip their mouths.
Aric then then shifted his focus back to Chamber and said.
“I’m not here to fight. I simply wish to solve the misuanding.” Surprisingly, instead of wishing for a fight, the old vampire calmly raised his arms in a surrendering motion and said, surprisingly not only the vampires but even Chamber himself.
Not expeg his words, Chamber simply gave him a face that said ‘Seriously?’.
“Aric! What are you doing!? I said take him down not surrender!” Damien, who was hiding inside a house but still within hearing range, heard Aric’s words and couldn't help but peek out of the window and loudly scold him.
Aric, maintaining his posure as his eyebrows twitched, kept staring at Chamber, waiting for his response.
Aric might be old and beloo the era when Dracu reigned supreme, but that doesn’t mean his mind has deteriorated.
As a matter of fact, his old age has greatly tributed to his wisdom as living long enough gives ahe necessary experieo bee wise.
Aric, who has withe ups and downs of the vampire race, knows their current situation is a challeo them.
His respoo this challenge is to simply avoid any bloodshed and if possible, seek for truce with the enemy.
Looking at the young age of Chamber a he already possessed unparalleled strength, Ariew that the young boy was worth allying with.
“What do you say, kind wizard? We are at fault here and hence, we will admit defeat.” Arially cluded, inside his heart, that he was hoping that Chamber would agree to his proposal.
“How I be sure that this won’t happen again? For all I know, you’ll temporarily retreat and then gather more of your kin to fight off against me. I might as well as cut off all loose ends and finish all of you here.” Of course, even if he’s presented with peace, that’s not enough to make Chamber back down.
After all, he has the advantage here and if he wants, he simply exhaust his entire reserves and kill every single vampire around here.
Doing such a thing of course have sequences but he’ll live.
“This…” Beads of sweat be seen f on Aric’s forehead as he tries to find the solution to this.
Thankfully, Chamber ter-attacked and presented his own solution.
“How about this? I have a special magic called tract Magic, with it, we sign tracts which will ehe wants of both sides while drawing a line iween.” Taking advantage of the fact that they think he’s a normal human wizard, Chamber revealed his ‘trump card’. The tract magic!
“tract Magic?” Aric’s eyebrows furrowed at the mention of a familiar word.
Of course, he knows about the word tracts. After all, tracts are famous across the vampire race, it was during the age of Dracu that tracts came to be.
It is called a Blood trad it’s mostly used by vampires to get an easy way of supply from the humans.
Using a Blood tract that is fed through the blood of both parties, the vampire and the human would reach a sensus in which it is mostly the vampire asking for a supply of blood from the human while providing the human, temporary immortality, turning the humans into a being called Ghouls, a lesser version of a full-fledged vampire.
Chamber then proceeded to expin the tract Magi which he omitted a few details that would reveal his race as a devil.
“I see. Then I agree.” After a minute of listening and asking questions, Arially agreed.
“Good. The me present my ditions first.”
“My first dition is that vampires will never bother me again forever unless I bother you guys first.”
“My sed dition is that vampires shall no longer feed on humans and instead, find a way to repce them with another.”
“As for my st dition, vampires shall not touyohat is sidered as my ally.”
After stating these ditions, Aric started thinking for a few seds before responding.
“I’d like to ge some things from your ditions. First of all, I ’t guarahat all vampires will heed the ditions. There are many other vampire s and fas that aren’t uhe Tepes fa. I hope to ge it and instead of all vampires, the tract will only affect those vampires that are ected or uhe banner of Tepes fa.” In which Chamber nodded his head in agreement after a moment of ption.
Then, Aritinued.
“As for my first dition, through this tract, a peace treaty will be formed between Sir Chamber and his allies and the Tepes fa.”
“For my sed and also st dition, Tepes fa shall not be touched or harmed by Sir Chamber and his allies. That’s all.”
Chamber pted about this for a few seds before nodding his head in agreement without any objes.
“Good, then the penalty of this tract is that whoever on both sides went against the ditions, shall be stripped of his magical power, memories, and strength.” Ohe punishment was decred, only then did Arially sigh in relief.
As for Chamber, he remained calm and simply smiled at Aric.
Is he an idiot putting himself in a tract that could potentially ruin his life?
Of course not, the tract Magic spell is not enhanced, and not only could he manipute the ditions even if the tract has beeablished, but he ot also manipute on which or whom only be affected by the punishment.
And the tter is what he just used on himself.
Oh, the punishment is alright and indeed do what it is written as, but the problem is that only Aric actually falls uhis trick.
“Then I hope this will bee the start of long peace between our sides.” Ariodded his head gratefully toward Chamber, not knowing his trust ced in the wrong person.
Sure, call him evil or a maniputive person but he’ll just admit it, after all, everything that he’s doing is for the sake of humanity, not the other races.
