Ch. 44 – God: I know

“I’ll put all of our pns in motion. As for the four of you, ohe final battle es, don’t do your best…” Zekram’s st sentence caught the four heirs off guard.

What does he mean by not doing their best for the war?

  “What?”

“If you show yht during the war, the death of the four Satans would amount to nothing. Instead, the Satan’s s would try to put the four of you in front ohey see what you’re capable of.” Zekram leaned forward and said.

“We ’t have the war tinuing after the Satans’ deaths. So we he show the rest of the devils that we’re weak and uo tinue fighting in the war. Knowing the Angels, no doubt they would likely think the same thing.”

“As for the Satan’s s, let me ha. I have my people ihem and I’ll make sure to move them all out of the picture.” Once Zekram was finished speaking, everyone was silent, registering the weight of his words.

“But wouldn’t that mean more devils will die?” Serafall said with a hint of uneasiness ione.

“Serafall, sometimes—sacrificies are necessary to avoid further flicts. This is what we’re doing here. If you four show that your strengths are almost he strength of the Satans themselves, not only this will reighe fmes of war in every devil’s hearts but the Satans might pce you in unfavourable situations such as fag Big G himself. We’ll never know what goes in the minds of those four.” Zekram replied while shaking his head.

“…Okay…” Although Serafall wao say more, however after seeing the father’s expression that tells her to stop, she stopped.

Thankfully, Chamber by her side as he mao pce his warm hand on hers, keeping her from being unfortable.

Unfortunately, as much as Chamber dislikes the idea of sacrifig others for the future, he couldn’t help but see it as being the most ideal solution in the devils’ current situation.

They have to sacrifice the little to gain the big bes.

Even the capitalists would agree on this matter. After all, how do you think they mao reach the position they have no if not for sacrifig small things?

“Now, for the others...” Zekram tinued as he refers to the current heads, “We’re going to need as many allies as possible to join our cause, hopefully—some of you might know a feould gdly like to end this war.”

“No problem, I heard the Bunè has been suffering great loss over this war, I doubt they’d refuse to help end this war.” Raising his hand like a school student, Zeoticus answered.

“The same goes for the Vapu , they’re been pining about how their Lions are being used as on fodders in the war.” Gideon said .

  “…”

While the heads are giving suggestions anout potential allies among the devils, Chamber and the four heirs talk to one another.

“From what I know, these Runes are quite a bit simir to the Norse King of Gods Odin.” Ajuka the devil stist, said while examining the rune on Chamber’s hand.

“ I learn it?” Ajuka asked curiously.

“It’s a secret. I ’t disclose it due to a tract.” Chamber shrugged his shoulders and replied, much tio Ajuka’s disappoi.

“Then why did you even bother showing it off to me?” Chamber heard Ajuka mutter to himself, almost causing a snort from Chamber.

“That is so cool, ChamCham!” Serafall oher hand, despite not knowing much about runes, as long as it was Chamber who khem, it would be cool to her.

“Thank you, Sera.” Ruffling her hair as he patted her head, Chamber earned a slight chuckle from Serafall as she remained hugging his abdomen.

‘Why are we still here?’ The three unfortunate heirs, could only swallow their bitterment as they couldn’t help but feel slight envy from Chamber and Serafall’s iions.

Unbeknownst to them, they weren’t the only one whose feeling are plicated as Chamber felt a sharp gre pierg through his skull.

Raising his head in fusion, Chamber noticed the gre belonging to Gideon, the father of Serafall.

Waving his hand at him, Gideon harrumphed and looked away with a sharp turn of his head.

‘…What’s with this guy?’ Chamber’s lips quivered after receiving such a rea.

  ***

After ing up the meeting, everyohe room with determination, goals and purposes in their minds.

Including Chamber, who after separating from Serafall who was relut to let go of him, returo the farmhouse.

Sihe meeting only sted a few hours, the sun is still set and his students are still training with their whips and Tao Mandas.

“Master Chamber!” Seeing him back, the two sibliedly run off to him, eager to show off their progress to their master.

“Look, Master!” Unfortunately for Belle, Tam ran off a little faster than her and mao show off first.

With a flick of his arms, two small Tao Mandas was jured on each of his hand, flickering slightly but Tam successfully stabilized it.

After that, Tam shifted his attention back to Chamber, a look of expectation pstered on his face.

“Good job, my dear student.” Knowing what the boy wanted, Chamber showered him with praise.

“M-Master Chamber!” This time, it was Belle who finally caught up.

Without saying anything more, Belle simply showed her progress by juring a whip on her left hand and a Tao Mandas on her right hand.

Her face beamed up after success.

‘Why does she look like Wonder Woman with the Lasso of Truth and her shield?’ Looking at the se, Chamber couldn’t help but recall a certain Amazonian princess.

“Nice job for you too, Belle.” Chamber patted her head. Though he couldn't help but notice that Belle mao catch up with Tam’s progress, which is a surprise.

‘Could it be her talent is higher than her little brother but because of her siess, I didn’t notice it back then?’ No point p over such a matter now especially when he has a special mission in his mind.

“Now, how about you two wait for me out here and I’ll teaore advanced spells.” Patting their heads at the same time, Chamber left and instead of entering the farmhouse, he decided it would be better to have a chat ihe stables.

After all, God said he liked horses, right? So maybe the horses would calm the old man down once he broke the o him.

Once he’s settled, Chamber cupped his hands together and made a silent prayer in his heart.

‘God, if you’re hearing this, I o tell you something-’ Just as Chamber was about to end the prayer with an ‘Amen’. He was suddenly interrupted by a voice from behind.

“Heard yah.” Surprised to see God standing in front of him, Chamber wasn't expeg God to actually listen.

  “So fast?”

“What I say? Being fast is in my nature. So what’s wrong, my little grandchild? Did those devils bully you?” The old man said while poking Chamber’s cheeks like a doting grandfather.

“….It’s not about me. It’s about you, old man.” Resisting the urge to sp his hand away, Chamber sighed to calm himself and said.

“Me? What’s wrong with me?” God raised an eyebrow.

“There’s a beast residing in a pce called Dimensional Gap, it was said to be strohan the Great Red and the Infinity Dragon God…” For the few minutes, Chamber wasted no time telling God everything, ensuring the old man knows what and who will he be dealing with.

“My suggestion is to lead the Apocalyptic Beast to your uping battle with the Four Satans, that way, not only your burden will be at ease but the four Satans would also find themselves weakened.”

“Hold your horses, my child.” God raised his hand in front of Chamber, putting his ramblings to a halt.

“What’s wrong?” Chamber asked with fusion.

  “I know.” God simply replied.

“What do you mean you know?”

“I know about the Apocalyptic Beast, I know about that Zekram’s pn and I even know the name of this beast. She’s called Trihexa and she came from beyond our world, just like you.” Although Chamber was shocked by the reveal that God knows about his in being from another world but he already expected it.

What shocked him however, was the fact that this beast that was supposed to be strohahe stro in this world actually shares the same situation as him.

  Being an Other Worlder.

“That’s why we met in the first pce. I wao know if you belong to the same world as Trihexa but after seeing your rea about her, it looks like there are more than a single world from beyond.” The mod spoke, the more it stunned Chamber.

“…So what will you do? Do you need my help?” Obviously, as someone has helped him tremendously after arriving in this world, Chamber wouldn’t hesitate to offer his hand to him.

“I appreciate it but no thanks. I have my own way to deal with it. Thanks for telling me, my child.” Smiling, God crouched to meet Chamber’s eye level and patted his head.

“I’ll be firust me.” God said with fidence. Making Chamber stare at him for a long time.

“Just…don’t die. Please.” Chamber sighed i.

  “I won’t.”

“If you die, I’ll kill you, okay?”

“Haha! Child, it would take you years just to put a scrate but sure, I’ll accept your challenge!”
