“Enjoying the food, Rockin?” Savirei asked, sneaking up on me during the meal.
“Humph, you’re as sly as ever, Savirei,” I said with a half frown.
“Ahh, that hurt my feelings, darling. Is my food not that good anymore?” Savirei asked sheepishly.
“I was talking about Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira. Although, I should’ve expected something like that from you,” I said before putting another bite of my food in my mouth.
“Your diner is doing great, it seems, Savirei,” Krisel took the opportunity to squeeze a few words into our conversation.
“Yes, you could say so,” Savirei said with a giggle.
“By the way, there were no trouble I hope?” I asked, remembering a few incidents with Ranalaiya and Sylfrin in the past.
“Not at all, Rockin. I’ve set up some strict rules from the very beginning and anyone who tried to have a go at one of your ladies has been kicked out from my diner on the spot. I also have some people watch over Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira just in case too. I did not want to take any risks of infuriating my clan’s leader if something were to happen to them,” Savirei explained it to me like an employee would explain themselves to their boss.
“Ahem…” that just brought back a few memories from my past. “Yes, ok. I mean… your diner is overpacked.”
“Amazing, isn’t it? I knew it will be slightly busier tonight, but who could’ve thought it would be so packed?” Savirei commented thoughtfully, pretending she was very much surprised herself.
“Yes, who indeed?” I asked, rolling my eyes and making Savirei and Krisel chuckle.
“Well then, I better get back to work. I think I will need to stay open later than usual and probably pay my chefs extra. They are barely managing to keep up with the orders,” Savirei said and I very much understood where she was going with it.
“Pay extra to your chefs, huh?” I asked after turning to face Savirei again. “Just to let you know, Savirei, I will be leaving after I finish my meal, together with Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira, of course.”
“Oh, I’m sorry. I forgot to mention I would be willing to pay double to my waitresses too, if they could stay on for longer,” Savirei said, showing the sweetest smile.
“You know what, it’s not that late yet. I guess I could stay and do some more crafting,” I said, pretending I was thinking out loud.
“I will make sure nobody will bother you while you work, darling,” Savirei said before adding. “Now then, if you excuse me, I will get back to work.” Quickly disappearing before I said anything else or changed my mind.
“Wow, that was very sleek, Rockin,” Krisel commented, looking impressed.
“Oh, yeah? It was Savirei who tried to be sleek with me here instead of simply asking if Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira could work longer. Besides, I didn’t ask her to double their pay. Savirei offered it herself,” I explained.
“Yes and that was my point,” Krisel said before covering her mouth with one hand to suppress her laugh.
“Humph, I can see how you managed to get Meribell Willmint to vouch for you now, or getting a place at the Auction House for our clan,” Tarrion commented.
“Well, you just need to go and ask people for help. That’s all,” I said without thinking too much about it.
“Yeah, right,” Tarrion grunted.
“Anyway, I’ll be going back to crafting now. It was nice seeing you two and thanks for letting me eat at your table,” I said before standing up.
“So, about going to the dungeon?” Tarrion asked before I left.
“Like I said, I won’t be going to the dungeon until the place at the Auction House is ready to be used. Miss Meribel said it would take two days to get it set up, so the earliest I will be able to leave will be the day after tomorrow. Even then, I will need to go check on the place to make the final arrangements, so I doubt I will become free earlier than in the afternoon on that day,” I told him.
“That’s fine. One more thing. Mind crafting some more Healing Potions for me?” Tarrion asked.
“You got more Medicinal Herbs?” I asked back.
“Not yet, but I will check the market tomorrow. We’d be going to the eighth floor of the dungeon again, right? It’s better to be well prepared,” Tarrion explained.
“Yes, I suppose. I’ll see if I’ll be staying here again tomorrow. Savirei just might agree on letting Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira work for her tomorrow as well. Just don’t tell her I told you that,” I said, remembering to add the last sentence.
“My lips are sealed, Rockin,” Krisel said, adding a chuckle.
“Tss… We’ll come here in the evening tomorrow again,” was all Tarrion said.
“Humph, you better book a table in advance,” I said before leaving. I did not know for how long Savirei planned to keep her diner open tonight, but I was certain I had a couple more hours to craft some stuff. I had a bunch of materials, so I sat down to craft some more Rhanabbit armor pieces after returning to the room Savirei offered me.
- ‘Knock. Knock.’ – I heard a knock on the door after whatever amount of time has passed while I worked.
“Yes, come in,” I said, expecting to see Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira enter the room.
“Hello, Rockin. Hope I did not disturb your work?” But it was Savirei.
“Savirei? Did something happen?” I asked, instantly becoming worried.
“Ah, no, no. Nothing bad happened. Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira are totally fine,” Savirei reassured me.
“Ok,” I let out a sigh of relief. “So, what’s up?”
“I was just wondering. I will be closing down soon, but with Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira working all night so hard, they have become really tired. So, instead of you all going to my sister’s inn, how about spending the night here? I have another room available,” Savirei offered, surprising me by not offering any extras to me personally to talk me into staying.
“Oh, yeah. I guess,” I sort of agreed. If Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira were as tired as Savirei implied they were, it would be much easier if we didn’t need to walk back to Navirei’s inn.
“Thank you, Rockin. Like I said, I will be closing down for the night, but feel free to work for as long as you like,” she added before leaving.
“Thanks,” I said, adding a smile at the end too.
I continued with my work. I was on my second Rhanabbit armor set. It wasn’t even an hour when I heard another knock on my door. It was Savirei again. She came to inform me that Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira had finished their work too, telling me she wanted to show me which room they will be staying at. I was in the working mood and would’ve still worked some more, but I knew Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira would expect to receive goodnight kisses from me, so I followed Savirei for her to show me which room the three of them were staying at. Once I entered the room however, I have found the three beautiful maidens already sleeping. They haven’t even taken their uniforms off.

Oh, wow. Now that’s a sight you won’t see everyday. Savirei was right about them being proper tired. I mumbled in my head, watching the three of them sleep. Humph. I suppose I can still give them goodnight kisses. I smirked before coming over to kiss them all on the cheek each.
“Sweet dreams,” I said before leaving the room.
Since I was out of my room, my stomach reminded me it would appreciate some love too. So, instead of going back to the room to do some more work, I went downstairs to see if there was any leftover food I could have, finding Savirei and a few of her employees cleaning the diner.
“Rockin, hi. Is everything ok?” Savirei asked me the instant she saw me.
“Yeah, all is good. Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira are already asleep,” I told her.
“I thought they would be. The three of them were working so hard after all,” Savirei smiled.
“Listen, do you have any leftover food for me?” I asked, crinkling my nose.
“Of course,” Savirei couldn’t help but laugh at my question.
I wasn’t extremely hungry and I didn’t want to get in the way of Savirei and her employees cleaning, so I picked up some food and went back upstairs. I didn’t know how late it was, other than it being the middle of the night, but after I ate, I sat back down to do more work. However, me leaving to check on Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira, and probably putting some food into my stomach had made me rather sleepy. So, instead of sitting down to do more work, I started to undress to get ready to sleep.
- ‘Knock. Knock.’ – Just when I was about to take my pants off, I heard another knock on the door.
“Yes, come in,” I said, knowing it could be Savirei this time.
“Hello again, Rockin. Sorry for interrupting your work,” Savirei said. “We are done for the night and I was about to go to bed, but I thought I’ll come bring the payment for Ranalaiya’s, Sylfrin’s and Lilfira’s work to you first.”
“Oh, thanks. You could’ve done it tomorrow too,” I said, not being bothered by it.
“Yes, I know,” Savirei said, adding a sweet smile.
“Humph. Let me guess, you came to get a goodnight kiss too?” I asked, knowing what her smile meant.
“Oh my, now that made me blush,” Savirei said, touching her cheek with one hand and looking bashful.
“Yeah, well… The two of us haven’t met just yesterday,” I said, making Savirei chuckle. I came closer and hugged her around the waist before kissing her on the lips, Savirei not willing to let me go after, her eyes screaming with passion, telling me she wouldn’t be satisfied with a single kiss. “But aren’t you tired yourself? I bet tomorrow will be a very busy day for you again.”
“I’d be a foolish woman to miss an opportunity to be with you, Rockin,” Savirei said, her smile and her burning eyes letting me know I wouldn’t be sleeping alone tonight.
{the next day}
“Master Rockin,” Ranalaiya was the first one to rush to my table.
It was late morning and I was at the diner, waiting for the three sleeping beauties to wake up. Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira must’ve been really tired because they overslept big time, not that I was upset or anything. Actually, I was glad that they did, because I slept in too. Savirei was already gone when I woke up, but that didn’t surprise me. She had to go get ready to open for the day. I had to admit, I didn’t expect for Savirei to have that much extra energy last night. It was definitely a wild ride. Well, she’s a beast-woman for a reason. However, now I was feeling a little awkward in front of Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira.
“Good morning. How was your sleep?” I asked, not addressing any one of them in particular.
“Good morning, Master Rockin. I’m sorry for oversleeping,” Sylfrin apologized instead of answering my question.
“Good morning, Master. Yes, I’m sorry too,” Lilfira said.
“Yes, me too,” Ranalaiya added last.
“Stop apologizing, you three. I’m not upset or anything. I came to check on you last night to give you goodnight kisses, but all three of you were already sleeping,” I told them.
“Oh no. I told you we should’ve waited for Master Rockin to show up instead of laying on the bed,” Ranalaiya complained.
“So true,” Lilfira added with the saddest expression on her face.
“Will need to stay more vigilant next time,” Sylfrin said.
“Hey, I never said I didn’t give you the goodnight kisses,” I said with a bit of a smirk.
“Huh?” The three of them perked up, seeing my cheesy grin.
“Master Rockin,” Ranalaiya said, pursing her lips, swinging her body from side to side and looking bashful.
“Thank you, Master Rockin,” Sylfrin on the other hand, looked completely normal, as if she knew I had kissed her last night.
“Anyway, you three must be hungry. Why don’t you sit down and eat something, and also tell me about your work last night?” I suggested.
“Yes, Master Rockin,” the three of them agreed right away. They quickly sat down at the table but not before I gave them the good morning kisses.
“Good morning, ladies,” Savirei came to say hi. “I take it you’d like to eat something? You can have anything you like. It’s on me.”
“Wow, thank you, Miss Savirei,” Ranalaiya said before placing her order, Sylfrin and Lilfira doing the same too. “Miss Savirei is in a really good mood today.” Ranalaiya said after Savirei was gone.
“Indeed. I wonder why?” Lilfira asked.
“Ah… That’s probably because she had so many customers last night. You know, she must’ve made good money,” I quickly intervened before Sylfrin could say anything. Although, I could suspect Sylfrin was suspecting something already.
“It must be what Master Rockin said. There were indeed so many people wanting to eat yesterday,” Sylfrin agreed with me before giving me a very sweet look.
Yes, I owe you one, Sylfrin. I simply smiled back to her.
“So, why don’t you tell me about your work last night? Did you enjoy it?” I quickly asked, wanting to put the focus on my three inquisitive ladies instead.
“Oh, yes. It was a lot of fun, Master Rockin,” Ranalaiya said, smiling wide. “But it was so tiring too.” She added, dropping her head down.
“Yes, I did not expect serving customers would be so demanding on my body,” Sylfrin said.
“It had never been so busy when I worked here by myself, so I had never gotten as tired as I had become yesterday,” said Lilfira.
“It’s not the same as fighting monsters in the dungeon, is it?” I asked, adding a mild laugh.
“No. Actually, I don’t get as tired when we fight monsters,” Ranalaiya admitted.
“Yes, that’s true,” Sylfrin seconded her.
“That’s probably because we have breaks in between the fights, especially when we need to go around look for monsters while here you were constantly running back and forth taking and delivering orders,” I said.
“Yes, that’s exactly right, Master Rockin,” Ranalaiya said.
“Here is your food, ladies,” Savirei came back to deliver the food herself. “Enjoy.” She said before leaving, sending a wink my way, me hoping none of the three women seeing her do that.
“You’re not eating, Master Rockin?” Ranalaiya asked, seeing Savirei haven’t brought any food for me.
“I ate earlier. I have woken up earlier than you three, remember?” I said.
“But haven’t you worked until late yourself, Master Rockin?” Sylfrin asked.
“Yes, but… I was sitting at the table without moving much, so I haven’t become too tired and… I had a good night’s sleep too,” I said, trying to sound as casual as I could.
“Really? The three of us thought that Miss Savirei might’ve slept together with you, Master Rockin,” Lilfira commented and I was glad I wasn’t eating or drinking right now.
“Why… would you think so?” I asked instead of answering her question.
“Because we know Miss Savirei likes you and she looks to be in a very uplifting mood today. She has even sent you a wink after bringing our food before leaving and her tail was wagging joyfully while she was walking away,” Lilfira shared a few observations.
Eh? They saw Savirei wink at me. Baah… I better be honest with them. I squirmed at first, but then decided to man up and tell them how it was.
“Yes, Savirei has spent the night with me,” I said, bracing for yet another jealous outburst from the three of them.
“Thank you for telling us, Master Rockin,” Ranalaiya thanked me instead of throwing a jealous temper tantrum.
“We appreciate you being honest with us, Master Rockin,” Sylfrin said next.
“Thank you, Master Rockin,” Lilfira added last.
Oh, wow. And here I thought they would… Humph, being honest and upfront is the best way to act after all. I suppose I am the one who needs to accept the fact that multiple women are in love with me and that all of them are ok with it too. I felt so relieved after hearing them say that.
“Master Rockin, can I ask what will we do after we eat?” Sylfrin asked after a short while.
“I haven’t crafted the armor for Ranalaiya yet. I was working to craft Rhanabbit armor in order to increase my Crafting skill’s level, but it didn’t increase yet. I still have some materials to complete the second Rhanabbit armor set, but I was thinking on crafting something else entirely. However, I would need to buy some crafting material for that, so I plan to go to the market to see if they sell what I need,” I explained.
“You want to craft a new item, Master Rockin? What kind of item?” Ranalaiya asked.
“It’s… it’s a secret,” I wanted to tell them what it was, but then decided to be secretive instead.
“Hey, that’s not fair, Master Rockin,” Ranalaiya complained, pouting her lips.
“Is it something for us to use inside the dungeon, Master Rockin?” Sylfrin asked.
“Yes,” I gave a short answer.
“Oh, wow. Is it something to help us fight monsters?” Lilfira asked next.
“No,” I gave another short answer.
“No, what is it then?” Lilfira asked again.
“No,” I repeated myself.
“What?” Lilfira became confused about my answer.
“You’ll just have to wait and see once I craft it, if I be able to craft it in the first place that is,” I told them. With the food getting cold, Ranalaiya, Sylfrin and Lilfira had no time to talk but start eating sooner rather than later. After they were done, I informed Savirei we will be leaving and will come back some time later, the sly diner’s owner telling me she will be looking forward to seeing me again tonight.
