Soon, a dark opening appeared in the distance—a cave. He quickened his pace, approaching the cave with growing urgency. Settling inside the large cave, he noticed the intensity of the noises began to subside. The monsters' fierce growls had turned to whimpers. Exhausted and desperate for sleep, Eren couldn't resist the urge to investigate the sudden shift in the sounds. He was optimistic that he might stumble upon a powerful battle scene somewhere nearby.
