Childhood Days

As Ne Zha grew up in Chentangguan, his life was far from ordinary. Despite his parents' love and care, he was constantly met with fear and rejection from the townspeople. Everywhere he went, people would point fingers at him, whispering and murmuring about the "monster child."

One day, Ne Zha, filled with boredom and a longing for adventure, sneaked out of his home. He wandered through the streets of Chentangguan, hoping to find some fun. But as soon as the townspeople saw him, they started to run away in panic. Some even picked up stones and threw them at him, shouting, "Get out of here, monster! You're not welcome here!"

Ne Zha was hurt and confused. He didn't understand why everyone was so afraid of him. He was just a child who wanted to play and have friends. With a sad look on his face, he walked towards the outskirts of the town.

On the way, he came across a group of children playing. His eyes lit up with excitement, thinking he could finally join in the fun. But as soon as the children saw him, they stopped playing and backed away in fear. "Stay away from us! You're a bad kid!" one of the children shouted.

Ne Zha's heart sank. He tried to explain, "I'm not bad. I just want to play with you." But the children didn't listen. They ran away, leaving Ne Zha alone and disappointed.

Back at home, Ne Zha's mother, Lady Yin, noticed his sadness. She sat down beside him and gently stroked his hair. "What's wrong, my dear? Did something happen?" she asked softly.

Ne Zha looked up at his mother with teary eyes. "Mom, why does everyone hate me? I didn't do anything wrong," he said, his voice trembling.

Lady Yin felt a pang of sadness in her heart. She hugged Ne Zha tightly and said, "Don't worry, my child. They just don't understand you. You're a good boy, and Mom and Dad love you very much."

Just then, Li Jing entered the room. He looked at Ne Zha with a serious expression. "Ne Zha, you know you can't just run around outside. People are afraid of you, and you might hurt them," he said.

Ne Zha stood up angrily. "I don't want to hurt anyone! I just want to be like other kids and have fun. You always lock me up at home. It's not fair!" he shouted.

Li Jing sighed. "We're doing this to protect you and the others. You have a special power, and if you can't control it, it can cause great harm," he explained patiently.

Ne Zha didn't want to listen. He stormed out of the room and locked himself in his own chamber. He sat on the floor, feeling lonely and frustrated. He looked at his reflection in the mirror and wondered, "Why am I so different? Why can't I be normal?"

Despite the hardships, Ne Zha didn't give up. He was determined to prove to everyone that he was not a monster. He started to practice his martial arts and magic skills every day, hoping that one day he could use his powers to help others and gain their respect.

One day, while he was practicing in the courtyard, Taiyi came to visit. "Hey, little Ne Zha! How's your training going?" Taiyi asked with a big smile.

Ne Zha looked up at Taiyi. "Not bad. But I still can't control my powers very well," he said, a bit disappointed.

Taiyi patted him on the shoulder. "Don't worry. With more practice, you'll get better. Remember, you have great potential. You can be a hero if you want to," he encouraged.

Ne Zha's eyes lit up. "Really? Do you think I can be a hero?" he asked hopefully.

Taiyi nodded. "Of course! You just need to believe in yourself and use your powers for good," he said.

From that day on, Ne Zha trained even harder. He dreamed of the day when he could go out of the house, not as a feared monster, but as a respected hero. And so, his childhood days were filled with loneliness, but also with hope and determination.
