The Rodentia battlefield lay covered in endless frost, its air thick with the biting chill of Permafrost. The war-torn wasteland had seen countless battles, but none like this. The very balance of power in the Icy Omniverse had shifted in an instant. Zenian, the so-called ruler of the Icy Omniverse, was frozen— sealed by the very power he had tried to wield, the Eternal Frostheart, as the Zenian’s faction of angels now believed.
But now, the battlefield was filled with a different tension. The infiltrator, the hidden agent of the Omniversal Lord, stood among Zenian’s faction. This infiltrator had barely escaped suspicion just moments ago—he had been inches away from being exposed as a traitor. Yet, what had truly shaken him was not just the danger of his position.
No.
What truly sent a shiver down his spine was what he had just heard.
The Ice Phoenix, the guardian of the Eternal Frostheart, the very spirit of frost and the abyss of cold, had spoken.
And she had said it with conviction.
The infiltrator's mind spiraled.
"This damn Ice Phoenix… But wait… if she just said that, with such conviction… then it couldn't have been a lie, right?"
He had been trained in deception, manipulation, and infiltration at levels incomprehensible to most beings. Yet, even he found himself believing in those words. The way she spoke—without hesitation, without doubt—her icy voice resonated with an unshakable truth.
And that terrified him.
He couldn't ask anything further. If he did, his cover would be blown. If he questioned even a fraction of what had been said, he would be seen as a traitor.
And so, he remained silent.
The battlefield grew quiet.
Glacialix—the Ice Phoenix—stood untouched by the freezing winds, her presence alone dominating the scene. She had been watching them all—Zenian's frozen army, the infiltrator, the angels of his faction.
Finally, she spoke.
"So, is your all-puny chit-chatting over or not?"
Her words were razor-sharp, cutting through the frost-choked silence like a blade. She didn't care for their schemes, their petty arguments.
"I have no time to hear such lame reasons and excuses.
MY MASTER WANTS ME THERE IN THE ICE TEMPLE."
Her master.
She said it with absolute finality, as if the entire Icy Omniverse bent to that will alone.
And with that, she prepared to leave.
The Reaction of Zenian’s Faction
The angels of Zenian’s faction stood there in an odd mix of disappointment and relief.
They were disappointed because their great lord, Zenian, was frozen solid. The one they had believed to be the rightful ruler of the Icy Omniverse was now trapped within his own ambition.
But they were relieved because they still clung to their idea, the idea of their Lord being the Ruler of this Icy Omniverse
They still believed.
They still thought Zenian was the true ruler of this Icy Omniverse.
Which in reality was nothing but a fool’s comfort?
Meanwhile the infiltrator, unlike the rest of Zenian’s angels, saw something deeper, for he had plans for which he had been sent here
He smirked to himself.
"Everything is going according to the plan… hehe~"
To him, Zenian’s failure was not a loss. In fact, it was all part of the greater scheme.
"Since that moron Zenian has wielded the Eternal Frostheart… though being a complete fool, he ended up trapping himself in ice…"
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"Anyway, our Omniversal Lord will handle that."
"He just needs the Eternal Frostheart… and that idiot Zenian to command it. That is the key to finding our Lord’s desire… the divine consciousness of this Omniverse…"
He walked away, a chilling smirk on his face, blending in with the retreating forces.
A Sudden Interruption – Azuraelis and Luvania
Before Glacialix could take flight, two figures approached.
One was Azuraelis, the Goddess of Infinite Tides. The other was Luvania, the Queen of the Shadow Elves.
They had been there watching as all this drama, unfolded
Waiting.
And now, the time had come to speak.
Azuraelis was the first to call out.
"Uh… Miss Ice Phoenix, would you mind…?"
Glacialix turned her head, her icy gaze meeting theirs.
She remembered what her Master—Arfrotian—had instructed her to say.
Her voice was calm, but filled with unmistakable dominance.
"What is it now?"
Even the mighty Luvania, a ruler in her own right, felt a chill run down her spine. Glacialix's, means, Ice Phoenix to them, her presence itself was suffocating.
But still, they needed to ask.
Luvania, summoning her courage, spoke alongside Azuraelis.
"Uh… we wanted to know about a man who… went to meet with you…"
Glacialix immediately understood.
They were asking about Arfrotian.
Her voice dropped to a chilling whisper.
"What do you two think happens when an uninvited guest trudges upon my path?"
Both Luvania and Azuraelis froze.
Their hearts caught in their throats.
Azuraelis stammered, struggling to process the implication.
"You don’t mean…"
Glacialix’s gaze hardened.
"That doesn’t matter anymore. For now—"
She turned her gaze to both of them.
"The shadow elves, the Asura faction of angels, even you—though I do not know your name—
PREPARE FOR WAR."
Zenian's faction who were going back heard this and even the infiltrator heard this as they turned around wide eyes, as Ice Phoenix continued,
"Before my MASTER, went into the slumber, these were his last words, and I wanted to convey that to you all to be ready for it......."
As Ice Phoenix flapped her wings and lift up into the cold air of that frozen realm of Rodentia
The Chaos Unleashed
Zenian’s faction heard those words.
And all hell broke loose.
They stopped in their tracks, stunned, their minds racing.
One of them shouted with excitement.
"HO! DOES THIS MEAN OUR LORD ZENIAN HAS ALREADY PREPARED TO DECLARE WAR!?"
Another followed.
"ALSO, AS ICE PHOENIX SAID THAT, DOES THIS MEAN EVEN SHE IS HELPING US IN THIS WAR!?"
Another roared in triumph.
"YES! WE WILL BECOME THE CONQUERORS!"
The infiltrator, watching the fools celebrate, smirked darkly.
"Yeah, as if, you morons."
"Be happy as much as you want… but when you find out your so-called Lord is just a pawn in our Omniversal Lord’s plan, then what?"
"You can forget about him being the conqueror. He’s frozen in ice. He will be freed—only to become our slave."
"This Icy Omniverse will belong to us."
Meanwhile Luvania and Azuraelis were in deep shock, they couldn't understand but somehow they got a feeling that everything will be right, Luvania muttered,
"Did Ice Phoenix really kill....... him?"
Azuraelis not ready to believe said,
"No it can't be possible anyone but him, we should rather be ready for war and let the Asura's faction of angels let them know we are at war and be prepared, I believe, Arfrotian is with us, and I believe everything will go right!"
Luvania seeing this conviction in Azuraelis had to say,
"WELL OKAY THEN, ITS NOT THAT WE HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE, BETTER FIGHTING, RATHER DOOMED WIITHOUT ONE!"
And then they both ventured back to Megaverse of Caisilia, to prepare her shadow elves for the upcoming war
Glacialix’s Flight – The Master Behind It All
As Glacialix soared through the sky, hidden deep within her feathers…
Arfrotian awoke.
He sat up, stretching slightly.
Glacialix glanced back.
"Master… was me saying that even justified?"
Arfrotian smirked.
"Well, my dear Ice Queen, it’s not like you said anything false, right?"
Glacialix sighed. "But Master, that phrase… 'You know what happens when an intruder crosses my path'… was that right to say?"
Arfrotian chuckled.
"It was perfect. They’re left confused, but knowing, Azuraelis, I know they will be hopeful for the war, and won’t be depressed instead. That’s exactly what I wanted."
Glacialix couldn't believe the way Arfrotian her master was layering everything down, as Glacialix said,
"And then Master about that thing about preparing for war?"
Arfrotian smirked saying,
"Well its not like you specified, you only said, that your master has told them to be prepared for war, which the Zenian's faction and the infiltrator among their ranks mis-thought for,
that their Lord Zenian before being frozen said he will declare war upon the shadow elves and Asura’s faction of angels, this will make them prepared for any war
but in reality since I can’t giveaway about my details but needed them to be aware for a possible war with the Omniversal Lord in future, so in this way,
all them can get prepared for war, without anyone knowing what this war was actually about?"
Glacialix sighed, saying,
"Master you should know how terrifying you are right? First saying about war you fooled the Zenian's faction but actually made shadow elves and angels of Asura's faction prepared for war,
but even by manipulating Azuraelis's belief in you, you gave them the hope a reason for them to fight, not making them depressed at all,
Master what are you.......... I haven't seen a man like you anywhere, and I swear it upon my life and my loyalty to you"
Arfrotian burst into laughter saying,
"Is it, and here I thought, I was doing basic maths, like was that even big of a deal, it was just normal psychological warfare right?"
Glacialix snapped.
"MASTER, THAT WAS ANYTHING BUT NORMAL!"
