THE PROPHECY UNVEILED - EPISODE 10

The fourth demon was Buer, Great President of Hell, a being of both terrifying intellect and overwhelming martial prowess. Unlike lesser demons driven by mere bloodlust, Buer was a tactician, a philosopher of war, a scholar of suffering. Her mind was a labyrinth of strategy, her logic as sharp as the blades of her legions.

Her true form was an unnatural horror—a monstrous, circular entity, with countless jointed legs twisting and turning in perfect synchrony, allowing her to move in any direction with nightmarish grace. This grotesque, ceaseless motion gave her an unnatural presence, an entity that was everywhere and nowhere at once. And yet, when needed, she could shift her form, taking on the shape of a deadly, commanding warrior queen, a vision of beauty and destruction combined.

Her aura was ancient and commanding, a force that bore the weight of millions who had fought and bled for Hell. But her knowledge extended beyond war—Buer was a master of philosophy, logic, and the forbidden arts of healing. She could mend a broken body as easily as she could break one, curing ailments with one hand while inflicting pestilence with the other.

I gave her the mark 888, the sacred number of war and dominion, a sigil that burned like a brand upon her essence. With it, she ruled her legions with absolute authority, a queen of the damned whose armies marched at her command. Where Buer walked, victory followed—or absolute annihilation.

The fifth demon stood tall and terrifying, his form wreathed in shadows that moved like living entities.

He was Malebolgia, the ruler of the 999th Layer of Hell—the deepest abyss, where the most ancient horrors resided.

  His mark burned into him—999.

The inverse of 666—a symbol of ultimate darkness and forgotten gods.

Astra, The Ruler of the 13th Layer and Cosmic Stars

The last of the six was a male demon with eyes like galaxies, his essence tied to the cosmos itself.

  I named him Astra.

And with that name, I gave him dominion over the 13th Layer of Hell—the realm connected to the stars of the multiverse.

He was not just a demon. He was a celestial terror—one who watched the endless void and commanded the black suns of dying realities.

Each of them felt their power surge, their forms evolving into something beyond their previous existence.

And then—one by one—they knelt before me.

"Our loyalty is yours, now and forever."

Even Beelzebub, who had once been the strongest among them, did not question her place. She embraced her new role as the first of my Demon Lords.

  And as for Lucifer…

He smiled knowingly, as if seeing something that none of us could yet comprehend.

At that moment, the entire Demon Realm shook.

The very laws of Hell had been rewritten in a way that had never been done before.

And somewhere, in the depths of creation, I could feel the watching eyes of forces older than time itself.

Even Lilith, who had once been caught off guard, was now staring at me with something else entirely.

  Not shock.

  Not fear.

  But intrigue.

  And maybe…

  Just maybe…

A hint of something far more dangerous.

For the first time, Lilith, the First Demoness, looked at me with worry.

She understood what I had done.

She knew I had acted out of the goodness of my heart, but she feared the consequences.

By naming demons, by shifting the balance of Hell itself, I had drawn unseen eyes upon me.

  Eyes from the Supernatural Realms.

  But I did not care.

I stepped closer, meeting her gaze.

"Are you not tired?" I asked.

  Her expression wavered.

"Do you not wish to be free?"

  She did.

I could feel it in her very essence.

Yet, she also understood the inescapable punishment that bound her existence.

  Then, something unexpected happened.

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

Tears welled in her crimson eyes—not of fire, but of sorrow, of longing.

She turned to me, her body trembling, her lips parting as she whispered her final request.

  "End me."

The words struck me like a blade.

Lilith, the Mother of Demons, the Queen of the Night, the First Wife of Adam and all demon lords, the Mistress of the Abyss… a name whispered in fear and reverence across realms.

  She knelt before me.

Her fiery tears streamed down her face, illuminating the eternal darkness of Hell.

  I had liberated countless demons.

But now, I was being asked to liberate Lilith herself.

And I could not deny her.

With a gentle touch, I placed my hand upon her head.

Her breath hitched, and for the first time, she smiled—a genuine, peaceful smile.

In that moment, I set her free.

Lilith's body faded into nothingness, her form dissolving into the void.

  Yet, I knew…

  She was not truly gone.

  Her essence lingered.

Her legacy would never be erased.

She had not died in suffering.

  She had died in peace.

And I had given her that.

I turned back to the hordes of demons that surrounded me.

  They had witnessed everything.

  And they understood.

I had not only reshaped Hell—I had redefined its meaning.

I raised my voice once more.

  "No more nameless demons."

  The shadows stirred.

"From this day forward, every demon shall bear a name. Every lost soul shall find purpose."

  I named hundreds.

  I named thousands.

  I named millions.

Thirteen demons, representing the thirteen cycles of the moon.

Three hundred and sixty-six demons, symbolizing the days and leap years of time itself.

Six hundred and sixty-six thousand demons, the foundation of Hell’s legions.

  Countless more beyond that.

With each name, power surged, reshaping their very essence.

  Many evolved into High-Ranking Demons.

Others ascended into new Demon Lords.

By the end of it all, half the demons of Hell had been named.

And with their names, I reminded them once more of the choice that lay before them.

I stepped forward once more, my voice shaking the very core of Hell itself.

  "The old ways are dead."

  A silence followed.

The infinite halls of Hell trembled.

  "Serve under me... or leave."

  A single declaration.

A single chance to choose their own fate.

Some demons bowed immediately, pledging their eternal loyalty.

  Others hesitated.

  And some...

  Some simply walked away.

I knew that giving them freedom would one day come back to haunt me.

  Some would return as enemies.

Some would seek to test their might against me.

  But I did not care.

Before they left, I issued a final warning.

"To those who think to challenge me—"

"To those who would dare harm those under my protection—"

"Know this: I will end you."

My words burned into their very souls.

Because in the end, demons are demons.

Whether they be Lords or Archdemons, they would eventually seek to challenge my power.

Only a few could resist the insatiable desire for conflict.

But even those who walked away…

  I knew.

  One day, they would return.

Because in Hell, there is no greater temptation than freedom.

As the decision was made, the population of Hell itself divided.

  Half the demons stayed.

  Half left, seeking new paths.

Some chose to serve me in secret, lurking in the shadows.

  Some chose to become human.

  Some kept their powers.

  Some renounced their powers.

Some chose to reincarnate, with or without their memories intact.

  I did not stop them.

Because I had done what no ruler of Hell had ever done before.

I had given Hell itself a choice.

  And with that…

The supernatural world would never be the same again.

I knew the other realms had taken notice.

I could feel their gazes from beyond the veil of reality.

The Archangels would not stand idly by.

The Gods of Old would whisper in their forgotten pantheons.

The Primal Beings beyond existence would watch in silence.

The eldritch horrors in the abyss would stir.

  And the Katsuragi Empire awaited.

By changing Hell, I had changed the balance of the cosmos itself.

  And now…

The universe would have to decide what to do with me.

As I stood there, surrounded by the demons who remained, I felt something shift.

A whisper in the depths of my soul.

  A lingering warmth.

  Lilith was gone.

But she had left something behind.

  A piece of herself.

  Something more than power.

Something I had yet to understand.

And as I gazed into the infinite abyss of Hell, I realized…

  This was only the beginning.

Despite losing half of Hell’s population and the death of Lilith, I still had a legion of loyal demons and demon lords at my disposal. Hell itself, now unshackled from its former restraints, would find a way to replenish its ranks—by any means necessary.

Even after relinquishing my position to Beelzebub, my subordinates remained in awe. I had not weakened in the slightest. If anything, an overwhelming, otherworldly power now radiated from me—so immense they could neither comprehend nor measure its depth. As I prepared to leave the demon realm, I noticed the heavy silence that had fallen over them. It prompted me to ask, "Why are you all so quiet?"

After a moment of hesitation, some of the demons and demon lords stepped forward, voicing their desire to follow me to Earth. They wished to assist me however they could. I considered their offer. Having demons of various ranks, including some who had ascended to demon lords, could prove invaluable—not just to me but to Sado Island and the surrounding regions. In the end, I accepted their request, and they bowed in gratitude.

Just as I turned to depart, Beelzebub stopped me.

"You need a name," she said. "Something befitting your new existence."

I pondered for a moment. "You could simply call me by my name—Joseph Benjamin Carmen, or JBC for short. Or perhaps—"

Before I could finish, Heylel spoke softly. "The Unkillable Demon Lord."

The name struck me like a distant echo, pulling at the edges of my memory. I recalled the words of the late archdemon, whom Yoshi, Lyra and I had once defeated in Kochi City. My unreadable expression made Heylel hesitate, fearing he had spoken out of turn. He opened his mouth to repeat himself, but before he could, I closed the gap between us and embraced him.

The tension in the air eased as my warmth reassured them. Those who had been holding their breath exhaled in relief. I then explained to them the significance of the name, how it had been foreseen long ago. Understanding dawned upon them, and I offered an apology if my reaction had unsettled them. From that moment on, alongside my given name, I became known as the Unkillable Demon Lord.

With my new title and my followers in tow, I returned to Earth. Time flowed differently between realms—what had been six days in the demon world had only been six hours on Earth. The people of Sado Island had felt my absence, and when I reappeared with my new companions, they were stunned.

I reassured them. "They are in good hands. They are no threat to you."

Just as I had done in the demon realm, I granted choices to my old followers. Some wished to retain the title of demon lord; others wanted only the power without the title. Some chose to exist as half-demon, half-human, while others sought the strength of demigods. No matter their choice, they all underwent an evolution—a transformation that transcended age and mortality. Young and old alike were reborn as equals in power, their bodies enveloped in a dim, radiant glow as the change took hold.

But even in this moment of peace, I felt it—a presence watching us.

From every corner, both the supernatural and natural realms observed our actions. Order itself was aware of what had transpired. And though no immediate threat revealed itself, I knew—sooner or later—something was coming.

And it would demand my attention.
