In the distance, there are footsteps coming. Kiyan looked at the entrance and he saw Shin walking towards him.

  "You're earlier than usual, what's up?"

  "Morning Shin, I just woke up early today"

  "I see, what are you looking at your phone?"

  "Oh– this? It's an old article I bumped into when I was scrolling" Kiyan replied

  "Hey Shin are you aware of what happened to Rose yesterday?"

  "Hmmm? I don't see any problem, Why?" Shin appears to be wary on Kiyan's question.

  "Hello there you two!" Rose said with a cheerful voice.

  ' What happened to her? If I remember correctly she was sad yesterday...' Kiyan said on his mind after he greeted Rose.

  "Morning Rose " Shin said

  ' This is strange... Most of my Classmates are here except for Emily. Maybe something went wrong on their date? Perhaps Shin rejected her...' Kiyan becomes silent while piecing it all together.

  Nathan blow his whistles to gather the class whole attention. All of the students fall in line according to their gender but Emily is nowhere to be seen.

  Meanwhile at the rooftop, Azriel sits in his usual spot, enjoying the gentle breeze.

  "I should attend my Class, but who cares if I pass or not? It doesn't matter"

  "Hmm? Someone's Coming? I hope it's Kiyan"

  Azriel quickly hid his presence and a figure of a girl appeared in the front of the rooftop's door. The girl appears to be Emily with a emotionless expression and her eyes are dripping with tears.

  'Huh? What's with that girl? Is she planning to– no, I hope not but if that's the case I won't let that happen' Azriel said while observing Emily's actions.

  "I already know he never wanted me in the first place, so why do I keep forcing myself on someone who doesn’t even care about me? I’m so stupid."

  Emily stepped closer in the edge of the rooftop... Azriel broke into a cold sweat upon hearing Emily's words.

  ' This is not good! But I can't barge in out of nowhere it may lead for the worse outcome" Azriel was considering his actions before he make a move to stop Emily.

  'You know what? I won't save the girl. I didn't even know her, I'll watch her fall since she wished to end her life...'

  "I'm sorry, Mom and Dad... I can't handle this anymore..." Emily whispered before stepping off the rooftop.

  'Dammit! She really jumped off!' Azriel acted quickly and a green magic circle appeared in front of him.

  Emily opened her eyes and found herself back on the rooftop, as if nothing had happened. Her body trembled and she collapsed to her knees while tears streaming down her face. Between sobs, she whispered, "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." over and over again.

  In the corner, Azriel stood panting, his face drenched in sweat as he struggled to catch his breath.

  'Stupid girl... I hope you’ve learned your lesson. Dying isn’t the only way to solve your problems,' Azriel said, his voice firm yet exhausted.

  'You need to value yourself more. If you fall once, you should rise again—no matter how heavy the burden you carry.'

  Azriel summoned a small white magic circle in front of him and casted a magic to Emily to ease her emotions.

  After he casted the spell Emily get on his feet and she wiped her tears.

  "I can't believe I did that, even if it was only in my imagination. It felt so real… I will never think of doing that again!"

  "I love my parents more than anything, even though they’re strict with me. But in my imagination, when I stood at the door of death, I felt so afraid… my heart was full of regrets. I don’t ever want to feel that again."

  Emily started walking and she left the rooftop. Azriel undoes his cover and sat on the bench while panting.

  "Hah... I have no plans to save that girl. I still haven’t succumbed to the darkness yet." Azriel Smiled and laugh.

  In the gymnasium, Class 2-F is warming up when someone entered through the door, wearing a P.E. uniform. It turned out to be Emily.

  "Sorry I'm late, Sir. Nathan" Emily bowed her head after that she looked at Shin with a Smile.

  Nathan acted tough and strict in front of the class, just as Claire had told Kiyan before.

  "Today we're going to do some physical activities like badminton, jogging and etcetera." Nathan said with a stern voice.

  'Is he pretending to be tough in front of others? Since I saw him panting like a old man earlier, it's hard for me to believe that he's actually a tough guy... Also he asked me a favor to keep it a secret' Kiyan smirked while staring at Nathan.

  'Maybe he have his own reasons for doing that, I guess I'll keep it a secret between us' Kiyan said on his mind while being considerate for Nathan's Request

  Nathan instructed the class on how to do some exercises, and everyone followed his instructions.

  After doing some time the P.E. class just ended. Kiyan sat down on the floor and he drink a bottle of water. Rose sat beside Kiyan and whispered.

  "What's up Kiyan? You don't like your usual self today. Something is troubling you?"

  "It's nothing Rose, I'm just tired because of the P.E. class"

  "If you say so– if something's bothering you, just call us you can say what's on your mind and we'll listen, Okay?"

  "Thank you Rose, I'm sorry that I made you worry" Kiyan replied

  "We're going on to a restaurant, wanna come?"

  "I'm still not hungry Rose, but thanks. I'll just hangout on the library until our break is not over"

  "If you say so– well excuse me, Shin is waiting outside. See you in class Kiyan"

  "See you Rose, take care"

  Rose waved her hand at Kiyan and leaves the gymnasium. As for Kiyan he stood up and he headed to the library to pass some time.

  Kiyan who's walking down the corridor, thinking about which book he will read at the library. When he's in the front of the library Kiyan opened the door.

  After Kiyan opened the door Emily bumped into him causing Emily to fell on the ground.

  "I'm sorry, Emily" Kiyan looked worried and reaches his hand to Emily

  "Ouch ouch, No! It's fine. I'm sorry too I didn't saw you standing there" Emily grabbed Kiyan's hand and stand up.

  "Thank you, oh! You're the transfer student right? If I'm not mistaken your name is Kiyan?"

  "Yeah that's me, what are you doing here at the library Emily?" Kiyan asked

  "I'm a staff here, I do arrange some books on the shelf in my free time and I like reading books too when I'm done"

  "How about you? Do you like reading too Kiyan?"

  Emily asked

  "I do read fantasy books when I have nothing to do but I play some games on my phone a lot" Kiyan replied

  "So you like reading too!" Emily's eyes widened, she grabbed Kiyan's arms and quickly closes the door behind him.

  "Where are you taking me?"

  ' Emily is a bit different from what I expected when she's in the classroom'

  Emily throws Kiyan onto the chair in the corner and rushes to one of the bookshelves. She seems to be looking for something on the shelves.

  "There it is!" Emily goes back at the table and sat beside him, she seemed excited.

  "Hey Kiyan you said before that you like to read fantasy books right?!"

  "Yeah, what about it?"

  "Have you heard about this book?"

  "One last thing Emily, if you don't mind can you tell me what happened between you and Shin yesterday?"

  After hearing what Kiyan said, Emily's tears started streaming down on her eyes and dock her head on the table.

  ' so Shin really did something harsh...'

  "You're so insensitive you know" *sobs*

  "I know… I’m sorry. I can tell you’re carrying a heavy burden from the way you approached me earlier"

  "You could tell?"

  "Yes, infact when I entered the library I sensed that you're rushing through the door are you perhaps trying to lock the door? And you're alone here too"

  Emily was shocked that Kiyan knew exactly everything that she's going to do earlier.

  "How could you..."

  Kiyan stay silent feeling guilty for his actions... Emily fix her posture and wiped her tears then she looked at Kiyan.

  Emily let out a deep sigh.

  "Anyways, I already moved on. Are you a friend of Shin? I already forgive him don't worry, but it's still hurts." Emily smiled weakly at Kiyan.

  Kiyan closed the book and returned it to Emily.

  "The breaktime is almost over, I'll go back to the classroom. See you later Emily"

  Kiyan stood up on the chair and left the library. As for Emily she looked at the window while holding the old book.

  After leaving the library Kiyan went to the comfort room to reflect on his actions earlier. He punched his face in front of the mirror for being insensitive.

  "What I've done... I hope she's not mad at me. "

  Kiyan was both pissed and embarrassed by what he had done. Suddenly, a thought surfaced in his mind—it was about Ms. Elysia.

  'About that Ms. Elysia... There's something I wanted to ask her about that story book, something is off about it. I should try to pay her a visit sometime '

  Kiyan goes to the classroom for his 2nd period. After he opened the door, he saw Shin and Rose talking to each other on their seats.

  "Hello Kiyan! W-wait why your right cheek are red? Did you hit your head with something?" Rose seemed worried

  "Someone picked up a fight on you? Let me teach them a lesson" Shin clenched his fist.

  "No no, it's totally okay, I just if my face on the bathroom's door..."

  " I see, how's hanging out on the library did you enjoy?" Rose asked

  "..."

  "Why the long face?"

  "It's nothing, I just cant find the book I want to read"

  The classroom doors opened, and Emily walked in. Her gaze met Kiyan’s, and for a moment, it felt awkward as if nothing had happened back in the library. Then, with a playful wink, Emily acknowledged him and she goes to her seat.

  After a few more minutes Ms. Herschel entered the classroom and started the 2nd period of class.

  As the time pass the class ended. Emily comes near on Kiyan's desk.

  "If you're planning to meet Ms. Elysia, now is the best time. She usually stays in the classroom for a while after class, so you’ll have a chance to talk to her—if she’s willing. Good luck!" Emily said that and she leaves the classroom.

  Kiyan sigh

  'Luckily she's not mad at me, I'd better go to the classroom of 2A' said on his mind

  "We're going home Kiyan, wanna join us?" Rose asked

  "I'll pass for now, go ahead first. I have something to take care of, see you Shin and Rose"

  "Awww Okay Kiyan, take care too" Rose and Shin left the classroom Shin waved his hand at Kiyan.

  "Now, into the Class 2-A classroom..." Kiyan left the classroom and he started walking to the corridor searching where the class 2-A room located.

  After some time of searching he found it. But when he's about to open the door a beautiful red-haired cute girl with a light red eyes bumped into him, she's wearing a bunch of accessories on her hair.

  "Watch where you're going! You got dirt on my uniform!" the cute, bratty girl huffed before turning away and leaves.

  "What’s with her?" Kiyan muttered before shaking his head.

  "Anyway, I don’t even know what Ms. Elysia looks like..."

  He stepped into the room, glancing around, but there were no advisers in sight. The only person there was a girl with light blue hair that fell over her eyes, wearing glasses and holding a booklet...

  The blue haired girl looked at Kiyan.

  "Do you need something?" The blue-haired girl asked

  "Uhm, yes I am looking for Ms. Elysia, did she left already?"

  "No. The person that you're looking for is Me."

  An awkward silence envelops the room, Kiyan's mouth gapped and his eyes widened

  'Do you mean that Ms. Elysia is a student, not an adviser?!' that information left Kiyan on shocked...
