  I appreciate your praise of my art, given how you aren’t a connoisseur of it yourself. Art has always been the biggest way I have been able to express myself. I’ve never been very good with words, but painting has always been the best way for me to get my intentions across.

  As what I’m painting will be a gift, I won’t spoil the surprise, but I do hope you like it.

  Tell me, my lord, do you have any hobbies you enjoy like I enjoy painting? I know it’s frivolous, but I’d like to learn more about you as we write to each other. If you’re too busy to enjoy hobbies, then let me help lighten the load. I know there will be a learning curve as politics differ from region to region, but I believe in my ability to learn.
