  Doctors wearing airtight suits slowly put me into the pod. The pod was a large white round cylinder, that looked like an MRI. The doctors soon put a mask over my face.

  “Can you count down from 100 for me?”

  “100, 98, 97...” That was the last thing I remember before I went under.

  “Er.. Sorry, could I get some examples?”

  “Why is there a new category?”

  There was no response

  Huh, well... from what I understand, this is supposed to be a game where we live our lives from start to finish. We start out as babies and when we die, we have to start over from the beginning again. We basically have to make a new character.

  The best choice would probably be Beast, because they have the highest average level. Although the insects have the highest lowest point, so even if I get unlucky, I’ll still be pretty big. And it’s not like I won’t be able to level up... It’s just really hard.

  Demons seem interesting, and there’s also the chance of becoming a demon king, which has the second largest starting level of the game... But it’s kinda risky because of their low level average.

  Humanoid is out, I really don’t wanna be a sparkly vampire or something, plus I don’t really want to eat humans to survive, it’s a bit too creepy for me.

  That leaves Other. probably not the best choice, it’s really vague but the prospects of being level 100,000

  I’ve always been a bit of a gambler, so the chance of becoming a demon king is so cool, but if I were to go with that logic, I should probably go with Other. Other has the amazing top level of 100,000. What could it be? Dragons? or do dragons count as beasts... there’s so much I wanna know!

  But for the largest chance of becoming strong, Other is the best choice.

  “I choose Other”

  “Wait, what’s my race?”

  I slowly started glowing

  “Ah, fuck.”
