As the string of messages from the @Only_James account continued to flow relentlessly, the atmosphere on the forum changed completely. This was no longer a normal intellectual discussion, it was something much bigger, more terrifying, and more unpredictable. No one expected that someone previously known only for expining sor panel optimization would now coldly provide systematic tutorials on how to create weapons of mass destruction.
Of course, the only ones who think so are scientists working on secret projects in developed countries; and all the scientists in the future who know that what James said is not nonsense, right now, the majority of these scientists just think James is a good con artist.
People who came from the world of economics could only watch, not all economists of course, they were scientists and minority experts who considered James' ideas. They don't have enough scientific basis to understand every technical detail described, but they are not stupid. They have learned from the previous case, when @Only_James talked about sor panels, that even if his theory sounds too advanced, there is a chance that it is not sheer nonsense. And now, in the same way, he is discussing the exploitation of nuclear energy for military purposes. With such depth of understanding that they can no longer dismiss it as mere baseless specution.
Some political scientists and humanities schors were quick to agree with the economists' analysis; again, they were the minority of schors who thought James' ideas were worth considering. They may not understand the technical details of how these weapons could be made, but they understand the geopolitical implications. History has repeatedly proven that with just a rumor of the development of a new weapon technology, the world power consteltion can change overnight. If what @Only_James says is true, rather-even if what James says is just nonsense and rumors, that's enough to make it an issue; but if what he says is true without a hint of deception, then....
However, unlike those in the world of economics and politics, scientists from various disciplines showed a much more complex reaction.
Some minority physicists read with increasingly serious expressions. Unlike other fields such as the humanities, they understand little of what @Only_James is saying. Every formu, every technical term, every description of uranium enrichment methods and plutonium implosion-all of them did sound pusible, if you revise the majority of existing theories in those civilizations of course.
The equally minority of chemical and biological people could only nod silently, not because they fully understood the technical details, but they were open to the possibility that if the weapon James described managed to exist; no matter how small, it could be more destructive than existing conventional nukes.
Keep in mind, all humans in this world have difficulty learning abstract concepts such as Formus. Creating stagnation, and prolonging it into a premature modern civilization.
As a result, not only is a fwed civilization born, the theories and formus and technologies that exist are not optimally present.
Someone had just given him detailed instructions on how to create a weapon that could change the bance of the world, and he did so calmly, without any hesitation. Fortunately, no one really knew the full details of what the not quite 2 year old was saying.
Imagine... Someone out there, someone who has no identity, no academic track record, no traceable background, has just shown them something that should only be talked about in closed circles. And it's not just a science issue, it's a global security issue.
User named Everett: "@Only_James. I ask again, are you serious?"
User named Lu Wei: "@Only_James. I don't know if this is just a py on words or really something workable, but this is going to be an international rumor."
User named Ajax: "I told you he was a fraud!"
User named Makoto: "Damn, this is like deja vu. We've seen this before, right? When he expined sor panels, we all thought it was too theoretical... then it wasn't. Now he's talking about nuclear bombs, and I don't want to repeat the same mistake of dismissing it as nonsense. At the very least, I'll consider it first before giving an opinion."
User named Vincent: "Look, I'm not a physics scientist, I'm an economics guy. But if you ask me to judge, I'll say one thing. No one can make up a lie this complex without actually understanding the field, the fact that this makes sense even to the minority of scientists and experts who don't fully understand shows that this isn't just pin bullshit."
A user named Seung Ho: "I agree with @Vincent. I can't understand every formu he throws out, but I know one thing-someone who can speak with this level of detail is no amateur. If he is a conman, I will gdly give him the title of King of Conmen."
User named Eleanor: "Alright, let's think about this calmly. If we accept that what @Only_James says is true-at least the rumors. What impact will this have on global politics?"
A user named Na Ra: "As someone who studies international retions, I can say that if this is really workable (despite the rumors), then we are talking about the possibility of a dangerous geopolitical escation. Even just having this information spread is enough to make intelligence agencies around the world start moving."
The user named Sun Mi: "Damn, I just realized. If we can understand this, even with a fwed blueprint in our heads, then what about someone who actually intends to apply it? Someone who really wants to build a weapon like this?"
Calhan belonged to the group of scientists who took James' ideas seriously, rather than as mere hype.
User named Elias: "Wait, you said the blueprint is fwed? That means you also realize that what @Only_James said makes sense, right?"
User named Calhan: "@Elias. Yeah... And that just makes things worse."
A user named Maxim: "Are you guys crazy? How could such a weapon be created, even the basic theory is contradictory."
User named Maradona: "I agree with him, how could something that great actually be created? If I'm being honest, just arguing like that rejects the majority of theories and formus that have been painstakingly developed and revised over the centuries."
A user named Vincent: "I'm from economics, I don't know how to build a nuclear bomb, but I know how the market reacts to rumors. And if this is leaked to the outside world, it's quite possible for political upheaval; at least non-developed countries have a reason to start false fg operations."
User named Sylvia: "Look... we know that officials from developed countries have started monitoring this discussion since @LOL_Evangeline's arrival. But after this? They must be really paying attention to it now, no matter if it's a rumor or not."
User named Hector: "Damn... @Only_James may have just become a target of global surveilnce without realizing it."
The user is named Calhan: "But there's one question we can't answer, who is he really? And how can someone with no academic credentials be that good at deception?"
No one answered, no one could answer, because none of them knew who @Only_James really was, except @Only_James himself.
