In her office at the U.N.S.E.A headquarters located in New York City, it was business as usual for Ionia Allard. She was finishing up her last bit of paper work before her vacation, when the reports she had been expecting came in. Action in the Tennessee mountains. She had estimated the time when Ameer's forces would have finished dispatching the trolls she had summoned. After relaying the report to the president and other U.N. world leaders, she hopped in her car and headed home, thinking about where else to use powdered fragments of the "Rock" to puncture holes in the veil that sealed the mystical realms from the mundane world. She would need many things to keep Ameer distracted while she hatched her final plans. Indeed, just stealing the rock took four years of planning, simulations, and testing. The fact that she even discovered that Ameer had it was an accident, brought on by her duties as director of U.N.S.E.A. At first she held but a tiny sliver of the rock in her possession, a gift from her late father. He had not left her many. Just this, as well as holographic recordings and access to family secrets. Ancient family secrets that she was legally supposed to report to U.N.S.E.A. Technology thousands of years old. One such device worked on quantum entanglement, tracking particles that once were in proximity to each other. During the inspection season, where U.N.S.E.A and its sub agencies inspected tech companies for possible threats to world peace, a signal only Ionia could hear and feel went off in her ear.   While reminiscing about how well she planned, she approached nice house in a neighborhood well below her means, but still upper middle class. On the custom dashboard in her customized car, she pressed a button that called on a private device. The voice of a young woman answered, "Hey." Ionia: "Cousin I hope you are ready for our vacation?" The young lady replied. "I'm packed and ready!" Ionia: "The vials and capsules are packed as well?" Her cousin: "Yes ma'am" Ionia: "Good. We are going on a month long 10 nation vacation! First stop, the home of our ancestors. Then, to Tokyo. That will be the first place we leave a treat for Ameer and his pets."

  And so, Ionia Allard, the most powerful Government Official in the world in more ways than one, began the trip that would begin the end of the world as was known at the time.
