The eerie black sky was spotted with thousands of stars. Well that's what the casual observer would think, but each one of those was a tactical pulse laser being launched towards a planet. A galactic scale war between two powers, each shot would somehow dissapate; deflecting off one of the barriers of the planets, but all life in the secter had been seared to the ground. I lay there just staring at the sky, wondering what I could've done to change my fate.

  A familiar jingle rang through my ears as a small box appeared.

  I laughed, pitifully. My health that had been slowly draining due to bloodloss was suddenly increased by 300 points. I had finally regained some stamina, so I moved my left arm to reach for something. Wrapped around my neck was a small pouch, I reached inside to grab the small translucent blue pill. At this point I was gasping for breath, and my body was wracked with pain. Yet I still felt the urge to keep moving. My hand finally released the pill and it dropped into my mouth.
