  Rhi- "well let's take it from the top, you gem looks like a mix of sapphire, that pretty normal, and emerald, now that is rare but not unheard of. sapphire would give you the water affinity but most likely at low, emerald would give you nature which would, In turn, give you the prime 6, you know fire, air, earth, water, light and darkness".

  Dave- "but I don't have darkness"

  Rhi- "that's probably because you're afraid of the dark!"

  Rhi- "seriously, personality and knowledge matters a great deal when it comes to magic, of course, it better to have a strong base before adding knowledge, but it's not critical"

  Dave- "so since I was in construction in my previous life, I get a boast to certain elements and probably also where I get metal from".

  Rhi- "you know, it would be bad for your health if you joke about a woman's age" while saying this she just glares at my gem

  Rhi- "sigh, alright I'll forgive you this one time. Now, you got birds from my bond, it's not bad, the raven is smart so we can use those to rebuild our wagon"

  Rhi places her tiny hand onto my crystal

  Rhi- "now anytime you need to summon a creature, I have to touch your crystal, then you just think of the creature you want to summon and send mana through me,

  Dave- "and how do I do that"

  Rhi- "just feel for a glow inside you and gently push a bit through me

  I try to feel inside me and there is a warmth, but there is also what feels like a vast room in there, a question for later I try to grab a sliver of the warmth a push it through Rhi's little hand. she glows for a moment with an expression of pure ecstasy on her face and then the light pours out of her and congeals into a raven several sizes larger than Rhi and myself. I look at it nervously as I suddenly feel very mortal
