Dear readers of Spilled Blood.

  I am sorry to say that I have been relatively tapped of writing energy for the foreseeable future.

  There were many challenges in the short month and a half when I was writing this story. Some of the reviews were harsh, but necessary and in good spirit. Others, perhaps not so much.

  It's been an illuminating process to write my first novel. I accomplished what I set out to, which was write a story of around 50,000 words. Every time I thought I'd hit a writer's block, I persevered and thought my ass off to write a story that felt true and good to me. It was a good experience, and I reallized many of my shortcomings as an aspiring author.

  The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

  For having enjoyed this tumultuous journey with me so far, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  I do mean to come back. Ed's journey is not yet over, and there are many more worlds and stories that yearn to be told in my heart of hearts. I don't want to keep you all waiting, however, and so am officially entering a hiatus.

  The next time you hear from me, it'll be with another story (hopefully) worth your time.
