Chapter 64: Capturing Kuro Again

  Chapter 64: Capturing Kuro Again

Three days later, at dawn, Hobodi had just arrived at the port of Bergen Town in Jieke Archipelago, where a group of people had been waiting for a long time.

"Is that Hobodi?" The old man who was sweeping the floor last time, hastily walked to Hobodi's front, grabbed his hand with one hand: "You quickly go to the coast of Xiluobu Village, yesterday a long-nosed kid came to your base to find you, loudly shouting that there will be pirates at dawn today. Although that long-nosed kid is a well-known liar in Xiluobu, but his expression yesterday looked like he wasn't lying."

"Long nose? Are you referring to Usopp?"

"Right, right, right! That's the name, the infamous pirate crew, Jesusburg's son!"

"Does he still have that identity?" Hobodi recalled the timid young boy about two years ago, never expecting him to be the descendant of Jesus Burgess from the Red-Haired Pirates.

"But sir, weren't you condemning me just a few days ago? How come you're like this now?" Hoboldi said, expressing his puzzlement.

The old man was still anxious: "Isn't this the time to talk about it? You, as a naval officer, have fulfilled your duty and protected us. We will naturally support you. Besides, you liberated the townspeople of East Sea Yotsuba Island, defeated the famous Colonel Monka of the East Sea, and now everyone knows. You should hurry to the port of Shirub Village! Go, go, go..."

"Monet, you go back to base first! I'll be right back."

  "Alright."

The old man pulled and dragged, pulling Hobodi towards the direction of Xiluobu. Before long, Hobodi followed the old man to appear at the two ports of Xiluobu Village.

The first port Hobodi did not find any interpersonal, but there were some oil stains and footprints that had been trampled by people.

At the second port, Hobbit saw a pirate ship with its bow broken off, and on the dock, lay pirates dressed in strange attire.

On the bow of the ship, a man in a suit lay on the deck panting heavily, the five knives on his gloves already broken.

Hobbit jumped onto the boat, crouched down and looked at the man's face: "Isn't this the steward of Crabbattle?"

"My name is Kuro." Kuro pushed up his glasses and stared blankly at the sky, still echoing in his ears were the words spoken by that kid wearing a straw hat not long ago.

If you can't bear the great reputation of the sea, are you not worthy of being a pirate at all?

"Who beat you?" asked Hobodi. "Was Miss Kaya Manor killed by you?"

  "Who knows."

"Hobadi asked again: 'Then you should know why I appeared here and what your next fate will be?'"

"Arrest me or whatever, suit yourself."

Kro's tone made Hobodi somewhat unhappy, but for the loser, he didn't do much either. If it were two years ago, he might have even tortured and interrogated him.

"Come with me to the mansion! If you kill the young lady of that house, I believe your guilt will be even greater."

Hoppy landed a punch squarely on Clo's face, knocking him out cold, then slung him over his shoulder and leaped off the ship:

"Old man, trouble you to go next town to find my secretary Mona, let her send someone to catch all these pirates. I'm going to Sirobu for a trip to confirm something."

"It's okay, it's okay! You go ahead."

Hobbit nodded and walked towards Cirob village.

Within a few minutes, crossing the deserted path in the early morning, walking along the mountain slope, a huge manor gradually appeared in front of him. Hobodi knocked on the door, and a butler with a hairstyle similar to that of an antelope came out from inside.

Merrily's head was wrapped in thick bandages, and as soon as she saw the person on Hopperdy's back, her face changed drastically.

"Don't worry, this guy has been caught. Is your family's young lady okay?"

Merry nodded and turned around to look at the manor: "She's had an adventure and has just fallen asleep."

  "Who beat this guy?"

At this point, Mary's eyes began to dodge.

"To be honest, Mary. I'll play it by ear."

"Hmm... Commodore Hopper, those young people defeated the Jakku Island's menace. If they were pirates, would you arrest them?"

"It's pirates after all. Otherwise, who would abandon 16 million heads so casually?" Hobodi muttered to himself, then asked: "Where are they?"

Marilyn shook her head repeatedly: "I have nothing to say about this."

"Pirates usually choose a big meal after a big battle. Apart from your village's restaurant, I guess there's nowhere else to go." Hobodi turned around and left.

"Hey? Wait a minute... They're heroes in our village, you can't go to the restaurant and arrest them."

"Are you really at the restaurant?"

Mei Li was taken aback and suddenly hung her head low, it turned out that what she had just said was intentionally teasing him.

"Don't worry, Merrie. If they hadn't had a price on their heads, I'd have considered letting them go as a favor for helping me settle this Clod." Hoppy patted Merrie's shoulder and headed back the way he came.

When Hobbit appeared in the "Zha Po Po Restaurant" of Xiluobu Village, the whole restaurant including himself was greatly surprised.

"It's you! So in the end, you've decided to arrest us after all?" The Three Swords Style Green Moss Head swordsman stood up from his chair with a ferocious look and quickly drew out the sword at his waist.

"Uncle with pink hair......" The grass hat boy muttered to himself while eating takoyaki, recalling the time they met.

"The man who likes to sexually harass women around him." The orange-haired girl looked puzzled.

"Hey, hey, you guys aren't his match. This is the strongest man on our island, a Navy Headquarters Lieutenant Commander!"

"Really? Usopp, didn't you just say you were going to be a pirate?"

Luffy suddenly brought up a sentence, Usopp's face was sweating profusely and turned green. He remembered the conversation with this man when they first met: 'If you're ever wanted, I'll find someone to take your head!'

"Wait, Luffy... I didn't say that." Usopp waved his hands repeatedly, then ran to Hopper's side and flattered him: "The great Captain won't bother with a small fry like me, right?"

"Looks like I'm interrupting you guys." Hoboldi pointed at Kuro, who was slung over his shoulder: "This guy, is he the one you defeated?"

  Yes.

"This guy, I'm taking him away." After confirming, Hopper looked at the Straw Hat boy again: "Monkey D. Luffy, I've already told your grandfather about you going out to sea. This time, since you helped me deal with Kuro, I won't arrest you. However, if your grandfather wants to call Smoker to keep you here, we'll have no choice but to fight each other then. So for both our sakes, it's better if you leave after eating. My base is on this island."

"We're waiting for the ship, the richest man in this village is preparing a ship for us, we'll leave after dinner. Are you strong, uncle?" Luffy stood up innocently and clenched his fist, the orange-haired girl beside him hastily pulled him back: "Luffy, he's the captain of this unit."

"What's the big deal? This guy has been chasing me away twice, and this time we can't even set sail without a ship. Just watch me beat him up and he'll shut up!" Luffy said angrily for no reason.

"Ruffy, wait. Sir, can't you wait until Miss Kayah gets the ship to the harbor and then we'll leave?" The orange-haired girl tried to negotiate.

  "No problem."

"What's up? Can't tell that you're actually quite talkative, Uncle! Hehehe!" The straw-hatted boy immediately lost his will to fight, with a big smile on his face.

Hobbit's forehead broke out in a cold sweat, this little guy...

Just then, a blonde woman suddenly stood up behind their seats:

  "Is this voice... Lieutenant?"

The woman turned around, revealing a beautiful face, wearing a bright red suspender dress, and walked out in high heels. When Hobodi saw that face, his pupils suddenly contracted, and his face was filled with chill.

The words from Branagh's phone call three days ago are still vivid in my mind and echoing in my ears.

"Adding... no, Fuyi, you're also in Donghai?" Hoboldi's face smiled but his skin didn't.

"That's right. I came specifically to see Lieutenant Commander, to give Lieutenant Commander a surprise. No, now it's Commander."

"Just call me Hobody." Hobody steadied himself, looking around at the astonished faces: "Let's talk somewhere else, Fuyi."

  "Yes, Lord Hobbit..."

Hobbit and Fienne left, leaving behind a few stunned Straw Hat Pirates in the tavern.

"That old man seems to be afraid of that woman." Usopp said in puzzlement.

"Ah ah! Looks like she has a lot of elegance just like Miss Kayano from this village." The orange-haired girl nodded repeatedly.

"Is she strong?" Green Moss Head and Grass Hat asked bluntly.

"How is it possible? It's obviously afraid of other places!"
