  I’ve begun translating the articles you’ve requested but I’m finding a great deal of discrepancies here between texts. Those we’ve confirmed originated from the scholars of the Grand Bastion Library are damaged, yes but woefully incomplete, even with time to account for missing pages, water damage and fire damage.

  Whole swathes of the history of this time appears doctored, and by an incredibly heavy hand at that. Some of these documents, especially concerning the events that led to the fires and those concerning the ongoing political issues in the upper echelons of the military ranks, are very edited. The latter is so heavily redacted one would instead assume someone spilled an ink pot if not for how neat the edges appear.

  I continue my assigned work, as always, your faithful intern in all things but I fear I will have very little to show for it at the end.Thank you for heeding my request to focus on my family history first.
