we see Eli walking in the cafeteria. avoiding the stares of his peers due to his new look from The accident. he waits in line for his lunch when suddenly Lee pulls him aside to a empty table in the corner of the cafeteria. "Dude. i saw what you did earlier this morning" eli's eyes widen as he begins to worry "w-what are you talking about? i didnt do anything.." he replies hesitantly "oh come on dont play dumb i saw what you did dude. and i've gotta say...." lee pauses and eli begins contemplating telling lee the truth if he really does know about his powers "that was the fastes i've ever seen you run dude!" lee gives him a playful punch "I thought you could barely run for less than a minute but you were like a blur in the hall way my guy!" "w-what?" "dude you have to try out for the soccer team come on" lee grabs eli's arm and leads him out of the cafeteria "hey wait i haven't eaten my lunch yet and i havent even agreed to try out!" "theres now way outta this one bud your trying out for the team!" in the next scene we can see eli being dragged onto the soccor field were soccer warmups are being done. but suddenly the prespective shifts to show kiko sitting on the bleachers reading a book with earphones in not really paying attention to the field. the prespective shifts once agian to show sasha in the student council office doing work but the window is open and her desk is right next to it giving her a clear view of the soccer field. the prespective shifts back to eli as lee places him beside him "hey coach Rosenfield come here real quick!" the coach who was supervising the warm ups walks up to tbe two boys this draws attention from the players on the team especially one of eli's old bully's him verbal but never physically. Darren West. darren laughs and pokes one of his friends and chuckles at eli "hey look its eli he's even more of a freak now it would've been better if he just stayed down after he got shot" darren and his friends chuckle. the prespective goes back to coach rosefield eli and lee "what is it lee and who's this?" "this coach is Eli. i think he'd be a great addition to the team. i've seen the way he runs. he's fast. real fast." "sorry lee but tryouts are closed until next semester" "oh coach come on just hive him a chance. i am the team captain after all!" as lee tries to convice the coach eli rubs the back of his neck nervously but manages to keep a solum face as he thinks to himself. "oh jeez. what did i get myself into..i really gottta work on being more carefull. and what if my powers act up during practice...i could hurt someone...i need to learn to control this thing in action...i have to hold back..." suddenly eli is poked on the shoulder by lee "hey bud so coach says you got one try to impress him but you gotta beat darren in a race then try and score a goal on him one on one. then. coach says he if he likes what he sees you'll get to try out tommorow after school got it?" "A-alright" eli replies "well then lets see what your made of!" the coach urges the rest of the soccer team clears the filed as darren and eli walk to the other end of the football field darren scoffs at eli and shakes his head clearly not beleiving the once nerdy kid oculd go up against him but eli doesnt seem to care much to even glance at darren. the two boys stand on the out of bounds line of the football field as coach rosefield counts down. "arlight boys! 3, 2, 1 GO!" darren bolts ahead of eli early while eli struggles to hold his speed back causing him to drop back and lose speed. suddenly darren bumps into the eli on purpose causing eli's power to halfway activate theres a crackle of electricity unoticble in his eyes and he suddenly gains a burst of speed causing darren to nearly fall making the football team laugh at him in anger darren tries to catch up but eli is already to far ahead like REALLY far ahead ending the race "Coach thats no fair! he tripped me!" "the entire purpose of this is show me why i should put him on the football the the fact he managed to win after you nearly tripped him makes him seem more viable for your position darren. you nearly fell." darren grits his teeth in anger. the perspective switches to kiko as she looks up to see what all the ruckus is only to see eli...a small smile appears on her face and she closes her book and starts to watch the field. we can see that sasha. is now looking outside the window with a smile watching eli "wow he's finally being productive.." she says as she fiddles with a pencil but she notices kiko and her smile fades slightly realising that kiko was watching him aswell..the prespective switches back to eli and darren as darren kicks the ball upward and catches it in his hand showing just how much more experienced he is compared to eli. "how is this even fair.." eli thinks to himself. darren sets the ball down and the coach blows the whistel darren immedietly takes control of the ball doing tricks around eli to keep the ball from him as eli struggles to keep his eye on the ball and attempt to steal all at once. eventually his powers kick in out of his own control making him move his leg fast enough to steal despite his inexperience he steals the ball and begins to move towards once of the goals but darren begins to fight back for the ball but eli kicks the ball above him playing keep away darren shoves eli out of the away to catch the ball elis powers kick in and eli shoves darren back sending him flying harder towards the ground eli aims for the goal and scores not noticing what he did "coach that was clearly a foul!" "oh calm down you little girl the boy barley knows how to play football. thats why he'll be trying out tommorow moringing" "oh...damn darren are you alright i didnt mean to push you that hard" "back off you freak!" "hey darren get your ass to the bench now!" "But coach!" "I saw now!" darren clenches his fist and walks off to the bench...as he thinks to himself "when did that punk get so...." darren doesnt finish his sentence as he notices his friends laugh at him the scene swithces back to eli as lee congratualtes him "damn lee so you like that now! i cant wait to play alongside you man!" suddenly theres a whislte from the bleachers its kiko "nice job eli you've got skills!" she smiles brightly and eli waves at her "thanks kiko!" kiko blushes for apparently no reason eli soon notices sasha and he waves to her but she quickly blushes and hides not wanting him to think she was watching her "damn it...now he's gonna think im always watching him..." the scene ends with eli and lee walking off the field

  The next day we See Darren walking alone on the streets of Topview we see him walk past a sign for burhex the number one leading technological advancement company in the world. we begin to hear darren think to himself "that litte crap stain has to have powers i just know it! theres gotta be someway i can prove it..or maybe...get rid of him entirely....no..no..what the hell am i thinking..." suddenly something catches Darren's eye its some kind of burhex volunteer program for consensual experiments...darren takes one of the tiny papers with a number on it out of curiosity and walks off. suddenly the scene shifts to Eli as he and Lee change into they're jersey's "So eli. think you'll do good on the tryout? remember you've only got one shot alright?" "yeah i know...but theres no way i can actually keep up wiht you guys i barely know anything about soccer!" "ah stop your whining it'll be fine!" eli smiles at lee and he does the same. "alright.. lets get going " eli says. both boys run onto the field prepared and ready. the soccer coach groups up the entire team including darren. he glares at Eli but he ignores him angering darren but lee gives him a look scaring him off. "alright boys listen up. we're doing a practice game here. which will also serve as a try out for Eli here." "you girls ready?! alright lets go!" the soccer team scatters onto to the field and the prespective shifts to show kiko just arriving on the field to watch eli's tryouts. but sasha show's up at the same time. kiko notices sasha but sasha doesnt seem to like that kiko is here aswell. "hey there! my names kiko" she outstretches her hand to sasha "eli's told me alot of good stuff about you i couldnt wait to meet you since im new to the school and all...it must be pretty cool being the student council president!" sasha's eyes widen suddenly at kiko's compliment and blushes slightly at the fact that eli only said good things about her to kiko. "uh..yeah you could say so.." to two girls shake hands and sit on the bleachers together. the prespective shifts back to eli on the field and we can see darren watching him intently he doubts eli will make the tryout. but he's still skeptical due to losing to him twice..the whistle blows and the kick off is started eli's team gets the ball first and it's quickly passed to lee the coach watches the game intently focusing on eli. lee gets close to eli planning to pass the ball to him darren. who's on the opposite team takes notice of this and smirks. as he sprints toward lee and steals the ball mid pass right out of eli's grasp darren smirks at eli and heads towards eli's goal his teamates urge him to pass the ball but darren ignores them and hogs the ball. the coach shakes his head as darren scores the first goal. on the next kick eli's team gets the ball once again but this time eli gets it first. eli bolts toward the oppostite teams goal passing the ball between lee as soon as eli gets close enough lee passes back the ball but darren comes in and slide tackles eli purposefull fouling him eli heard a snap and darrens laugh eli shouts out in pain he eyes crackle electricity but he closes his eyes the coach blows the whistle and shouts at darren "what the hell was that" "sorry couch i didnt mean for that to happen" darren plays innocent but its clear it was a lie "hey eli are you alright kid" eli doesnt ansrew and holds his ankle as electricity crackles beneath his eyeslids "i'm f-fine.." but suddenly...pain stops..and the slight swelling swelling that was on his ankle..dissapears..."what the f-" eli whispers...then he begins to think to himself.."can...can i heal fast now?" suddenly the coach snaps him out it "hey can you keep playing?" "yeah...i can." eli stands up and darren is a little shocked...and kind of suspicious...but he lets it go and gets in position for eli's penalty kick..eli stands behind the ball and his eyes crackle electricity nobody notcies. he steps backwards and kicks the ball straight toward the goal the ball moves incredibly fast but darren somehow manages to defend it stopping it with his chest but he falls to the ground. he chest hurts "what the fuck?!" he coughs haivng the wind knocked out him the game goes on without him so he gets up and heads toward lee took the ball when suddenly he lobs it toward eli sending it towards him in the air darren looks up "theres no way eli gets that ball.." suddenlly...he sees eli jump everything seems to slow as the ball falls toward eli he sets his foot up..for a bicycle kick the ball gets in range...and eli's eyes crackle electricity so does his foot but somehow nobody seems to notice. eli roars as he kicks the ball toward the goal he moves at incredible speed and curves straight into it scoring the goal the ball hits the net and doesnt fall for a good 2 seconds as it spins before falling. the entire football team roars in celebration for such a rare goal while darren's jaw drops in awe and utter confusion the practice match ends and coach is clearly impressed even sasha who's known eli for years didnt expect him to be capable of something like that..kiko can tell that what just happened isnt normal to sasha. the coach walks up to eli. "hey kid. your on the team. and your replacing Darren as our attacking mid fielder" eli clearly doesnt know what that means but he's happy as his team surrounds him and pats him on the back "holy shit eli how the hell did you manage that?! i told you trying out for the team was a good idea!" lee exlaims "yeah..maybe you were right!" darren is seen seathing in the background "What?! your making him replace me?! no coach thats unfair!" "oh stop your whining darren. go cool off we have training to do." darren clenches his fists and storms off the field. eli watches darren leave and feels a sense of unease. darren enteres the locker room angry and suddenly remembers the burhex volunteer program thingy...he hesitates. thinking about wether it would be fair to cheat in a game he worked so hard to train for...but he quickly pays it no mind and calls the number of the phone with a smirk. ending the scene there.
