Chapter 6

  I opened my eyes.

  But I wasn’t in my hospital bed anymore…

  “Ugh. . .”

  “Where am I?” I said before sitting up

  I looked around. Everything around me was pitch black with exception to the ground. The ground looked shiny and silver. It was almost as if the ground had just been cleaned.

  After taking in my surroundings, I looked down at my hands.

  “!!!!!!!”

  “My hands….” I took a good look at them to see if what I was seeing was really true

  “They’re transparent..”

  I looked down at the rest of my body, only to see that it looked the exact same as my hands: Transparent.

  “What the hell…?”

  I got up, stumbling at first. I can’t tell if I stumbled because of my confusion or because of my anxiety. Maybe it’s both? Who knows…

  Right now that doesn’t matter though

  What matters is figuring out where the hell I am

  Maybe taking a walk around will help…

  I’ve been walking around for a few minutes now

  From the looks of it though, there doesn’t seem to be much here.

  The further I walk

  The more I feel as if there are no walls

  I feel like this room just keeps expanding

  I doubt it…especially since it keeps expanding like I said before

  “!!!”

  Is that…?

  “A box?” I whispered

  Should I even be touching this?

  Hell, should I even be looking at this?

  As I knelt down to see what was in the box, I could feel something inside me telling me not to…

  But like an idiot

  I opened the box.

  “...”

  “Huh?” I pulled out a book

  “A book?”

  I looked at the cover…It was blank

  Before I could even think to look inside though

  I suddenly felt a sense of panic

  Was it because of the book? God I knew I shouldn’t have pulled it out of the box!

  I put the book back in the box, hoping that doing so would make this feeling of panic go away

  But it didn’t

  Why?

  “Who goes there?” I hear a voice say from behind me

  “!!!” I immediately got up.

  The voice…It sounded so deep and terrifying

  It was like something straight out of a horror movie.

  I knew I had to face whoever was speaking to me though

  So I turned around

  When I turned, a ray of blue light hit me

  It was a fire, a beautiful, blue fire

  I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it

  From that fire emerged a tall, black figure.

  It looked at if they were wearing black robes

  I didn’t think there would be anybody else with me…

  But I was very wrong it seems…

  I took a step back, very unsure of what was going to happen next

  That was when the figure began to slowly approach me

  “Oh god…” I mumbled

  Well…there was no avoiding this now

  I’m already dead after all

  They stopped right in front of me

  We stood in silence for a few seconds…

  The second I looked away-

  My chin was lifted
