I open my eyes to the emptiness of pitch blackness, only feeling cramped and.... wet? Whatever nightmare this dream this is turning into I don't want to be a part of it.

  Suddenly a hard crunchy noise suddenly happens without warning, again and again until ....a faint light appears!

  Then with one final crunch the light pierces the darkness so brightly that I cannot help but close my eyes.

  I feel like I've tumbled down a hill for hours because of how weird my body feels.... but at least I no longer feel like I'm being compacted in on myself so that's a small win that I'll have to take!

  Slowly I open my eyes to adjust to the light, and after a while I fully get them open.

  I freeze in place.... because those aren't my fingers, well they're not even fingers at all but more like paws???

  Slowly adjusting to the look of myself I attempt to get up onto the my ....legs? either way it's a lot more difficult to stand up on four legs when you've lived a whole life on two.... man being a human is a lot easier than I used to give it credit!

  Finally after struggling for a bit I manage to stand, Before cheers and shouts erupt behind me causing me to jump out of my skin.

  Which made me realize just how.... long my new body is, am I some kind of ferret?

  "Ahh so it's finally happened." A low deep voice calls out from behind me

  I turn around to see a mess of goop covered egg shells... was I just born out of an egg? However my worries of that are swiftly put to the side as I turn to see a massive pair of scaly purple legs, and claws the size of my head.

  I look up shivering out of fear to see a massive dragon... not just one though, both dragons staring down at me intently... the worst part. The purple dragon in front of me was the small compared to the teal dragon easily twice the size of the purple one!

  "What's wrong my child?" the teal dragon asks

  "C-child?" I ask staring down at my quaking legs, which are small and fluffy compared to these massive dragons.

  All I get in return is some confused stares from the purple dragon while the Teal one -who is my parent apparently- just looks amused.

  "Follow me."

  After a small walk, I was led over to a cave where my parent sat down near a wall filled with paintings, although their sitting down cause me to go ten feet in the air for a moment!

  "And that's all you need to know" my father said.

  Here I thought I'd never have to go through sex education again... but here we are

  "so just to recap.... horns means males? no horns means females?" I asked.

  "Good you were listening!"

  Oh right I was the runt of this family so I'm supposed to be dumb and not very attentive. Too bad for them I've already got a whole life's worth of knowledge... just not dragon knowledge.

  "Go on Macaroon, go out and play."

  I turned around and felt myself explode into happiness, my name is so cute!!!

  But letting the happiness dissipate into my steps I saw a nearby river outside of the cave and ran straight for it.... before tumbling and face planting, I guess I still need some practice in this new body.

  I'm getting better at rising to my legs at least. I then continue towards the river at a more normal pace, and stare down at myself.

  "Gasp .....I'M SO CUTE!!!!"
