117 - Davids Rough Day

David, with his D-Rank Physique, recovered fairly quickly after the electric shock punishment.

Staggering to his feet, David spat a wad of phlegm in Akizuki's direction.

He really was having a terrible run of luck. He'd finally managed to get on a bus, only to have some psycho blow his cover right there and then. The disguise mask seemed utterly useless.

To make matters worse, the lunatic had thrown his pee-soaked diaper in David's face.

The disgusting act almost made David vomit up his dinner from the night before.

As for how Akizuki had recognized him, David didn't dwell on it too much. He figured his bulky physique had given him away, having nothing to do with the mask.

No big deal, he'd just hop on another bus. Surely no one else would recognize him.

With that thought, David turned to get off the bus.

Seeing David about to leave, Akizuki wasn't about to let that happen. Drawing on some unknown source of strength, he leaped and grabbed David's thick leg.

  "David, you're not going anywhere!"

Akizuki couldn't let David slip away so easily. If he missed this chance for revenge, he might not get another one.

With the rule against fighting in place, David wouldn't dare kill him, no matter how strong he was. He had to make David's life miserable.

David's face changed, and he instinctively kicked Akizuki.

Instantly, David convulsed and collapsed, writhing in pain.

"Hahahaha..." Akizuki laughed gleefully, clutching David's twitching leg tightly.

The other passengers on the bus curiously gathered around the two men on the ground. After recovering from the electric shock punishment, David's breathing was heavy with anger.

He was well and truly stuck with this lunatic.

David angrily snapped at Akizuki, "You psycho, what did I ever do to you? Let go of me!"

Akizuki trembled with rage at David's words. "David, you bastard, playing dumb with me? You stole my Beautiful sisters and crippled me! I'm not letting that go!"

Playing dumb? Stole his Beautiful sisters?

David's scalp tingled. When had he stolen this psycho's daughters? And two of them?

Could he mean the Beautiful sisters?

  No way.

Even David wasn't stupid enough to believe the Beautiful sisters had anything to do with Akizuki.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

This guy was definitely a psycho!

David got to his feet again and spat two more times at Akizuki.

He understood now why those people on the other bus were spitting like pea shooters.

With the rule against fighting, spitting was the only way to annoy someone.

The onlookers started muttering about David, their expressions changing.

"That fatty is an animal. Stealing someone's two daughters and crippling their father."

"There's no law or morality in this Escape World. There are all sorts of villains."

"That Akizuki is pitiful. I heard he always carries a pee-soaked diaper. That smell is why there aren't many people on this bus, tsk tsk... So it's all because of that fatty."

Hearing the whispers around him, David quickly explained that Akizuki was a psycho and that he didn't know the guy.

Right now, David wanted to kick Akizuki a few more times, but he was afraid of the electric shock punishment. He could only drag Akizuki off the bus with great difficulty.

As soon as David stepped off the bus, a group of people approached from a distance.

It was Mark and his crew, who had lost the fight on another bus.

Mark's eyes immediately fell on David and Akizuki.

It was hard to miss a fat man dragging someone. As they got closer, Mark recognized David's face, his anger flared up.

"David! You're here!" Mark roared, startling David and Akizuki.

"How did you recognize me too?" David looked at Mark, remembering that Mark, like Akizuki, had mocked him in the Group Chat App. He knew he was in trouble.

Mark sized David up and marveled at how much David's physique had changed. If not for his face, he wouldn't have recognized him.

Mark knew David was strong, but with the rule against fighting, David wouldn't dare to throw any punches.

"Get him!" Mark barked, and his crew immediately surrounded David and Akizuki, spitting everywhere.

David did his best to dodge and block, but Akizuki was lying on the ground, still clutching David's leg.

  The scene was chaotic.

David unlocked some hidden power, dragging Akizuki with one leg, and darted out of the crowd and ran into the distance.

Akizuki, despite being dragged along, stubbornly refused to let go of David's leg.

Mark's face darkened. "Chase after them! Don't let them get away!"

David wasn't running fast, it was more of a jog. They could easily keep up and spit on him.

And so, a strange scene unfolded on the street: David running away while dragging Akizuki, followed by Mark and his crew spitting at them. It was uncertain where they were heading.

Ellie, accompanied by her crew of five or six, happened to pass by and couldn't help but twitch at the sight.

"What's their feud so big?" Ellie muttered, watching the group disappear into the distance.

Thank goodness she hadn't offended anyone like that. Otherwise, she would risk the punishment of the rules and slice the person bothering her.

After David and his crew had run far away, Ellie turned to her henchmen and said, "Let's go, we need to find a bus to rest in before nightfall."

Many teams were now monopolizing buses. Ellie needed to find a bus that was suitable for them to survive in as soon as possible.

But fighting was prohibited in the city, so occupying a bus was incredibly difficult.

She had heard that Feminism had over a thousand members but only occupied seven or eight buses, with the rest scattered on various buses.

Ellie was considering joining Feminism, but she wanted to observe for a while to see how things were before deciding.

In Ellie's opinion, while Feminism was powerful, it sheltered so many women, most of whom had no fighting strength. They also needed to solve the issues of food, drink, and safety.

Ellie had no interest in joining an organization full of liabilities.

Of course, if Feminism really had strength and resources, she wouldn't mind joining.

While Ellie, Mark, and other groups were searching for buses in the city, other vehicle owners gradually began trying to contact each other.

Some vehicle owners who had a good relationship in the last world decided to meet in the city to strengthen their bonds.

After all, having more friends meant more options.

In particular, the two or three dozen members of Feminism naturally wanted to meet.

The easiest place to find was the central area of the city.

As the number of people in the Group Chat App gradually increased, more and more vehicles drove into the city, and many vehicles began to converge towards the city center.

A gathering between vehicle owners was gradually forming.
