Chapter 3

  Time has passed, and Thor is now 16 years old, while his younger sister, Rhea, is 13. Rhea attends the academy daily and often showcases her growing powers when she returns home. She has formed a strong bond with her companion, unlike Thor, who lost his own—a dragon—when assassins attacked. He was powerless to stop them as they cruelly killed his companion, even laughing while doing so. In his final moments, the dragon seemingly tried to pass its powers to Thor, but the assassins prevented it. At that moment, Thor heard a mysterious voice warning him that he must survive, or the universes would be doomed.

  Thor never told his mother about the voice but did inform her about his companion’s death. She advised him to adopt a new companion, as having one was essential for survival in their universe. However, Thor refused, stating that he would never accept another unless his original companion returned to life—even if a godly dragon offered to be his. His mother, knowing he wouldn’t change his mind, dropped the subject.

  On this particular day, Rhea had a team-based fighting lesson at her academy and invited Thor to watch. However, she only had one friend, who was already paired with another student, so she ended up being partnered with a girl—Hephaestus’ daughter—who had fire powers. Their pairing was unfavorable since Rhea’s water powers contrasted with her partner’s abilities. Moreover, Hephaestus’ daughter seemed visibly upset about being paired with Rhea, making teamwork difficult.

  While watching from the stands, Thor accidentally made eye contact with someone—none other than this universe’s version of Thor. The encounter felt tense, and it was clear that this Thor harbored hatred toward him. Thor quickly looked away, sensing the hostility but wondering why he and his mother ended up in this universe in the first place.

  Turning his attention back to Rhea’s match, Thor noticed that she and Hephaestus’ daughter had not planned their strategy. The fire-powered girl was visibly irritated, even more so when she made eye contact with Thor. It seemed that, aside from his mother, sisters, and his older sister’s father, most people in this universe despised him.

  As the match began, Hephaestus’ daughter became frustrated and was about to attack Rhea but stopped when she noticed her father watching. Not wanting to look bad in his eyes, she composed herself and explained a strategy to Rhea. However, Rhea appeared nervous and confused, realizing that failing to follow the plan could get her kicked out of the team.

  “Hmm,looks like they finally started to fight together huh”.

  Hephaestus's daughter calmed down herself and told rhea to what to do in the match. Rhea who is very nervous also calmed down after she saw me and is doing like she told her.

  She's a much more kind person than I thought.

  She brings rhea to me and looks very pissed that her match didn't go very well.

  My sister who was responsible for this catched her hand and tried to say something but she couldn't understand anything even after the match was over because my sister doesn't have a voice.

  Rhea who was trying very hard to say sorry but that girl didn't understand anything was confused.

  She who was pissed all this time because she couldn't understand my sister's words but after hearing from me she's like “what the fuck are you saying? Do u understand her words? But how? And why I can't understand it ?” She who was shouting all over the stadium looks at other members and is very embarrassed at herself.

  I said this to her “ you don't have to shout like that. And I'm sorry for my sister because of her you didn't get to the finals and now you have to try more hard because of her to move to the finals. I'm really sorry about that. If there was someone else they would have left my sister alone but you didn't. You stayed with my sister all this time even though she couldn't do anything from her side. I'm really thankful and sorry about that”.

  She who was very angry all this time became embarrassed. So, she's also a shy person huh. She's very happy about me complimenting her. I think she's very weak infront of compliments like my sister.

  “Let's go rhea, you are very tired today. I will hold you on my back”.

  I didn't wanted to stay any more longer because if I did I would only attract attentions of all other gods. And that person is also staring at me.
