The two cloaked men were not much distance away from Forte and her children who were still instilled with fear. Everyone in the village just watched as if they were in a daze. This was the first time they've seen a person who can use synergy. They surely thought all of the stories were simply, stories. They didn't expect it to actually exist. If these people existed, that means it also existed. The villagers couldn't digest this, it was simply just beyond their comprehension.

  Forte pushed her frozen children behind her in order to protect them.

  "What do you want?" Forte said sharply. She knew they were after her and probably already knew why but she wanted to confirm.

  One of the cloaked men took a step forward and started speaking.

  "We want you to come back to the sanctuary. If you deny coming back then we won't hesitate to take your life. That was his orders so choose an option”.

  She looked at the men and then looked at her kids. She didn't want to go back but with her kids there she had no choice. Lastly, she looked at Deniz whose expression seemed normal. It no longer looked like he was instilled with fear and this sparked something within Forte. Deniz was different, he had a lot of potential.

  She shook her head and sighed. What she was going to do was not the best option but she had faith in her son. She had faith in Deniz, especially after everything she had witnessed today.

  "I'm not going back so if there's no other choice then I'll put my life on the line what for I'm standing for," said Forte. Even if it costs her life, she wouldn't back down.

  "Your loss," responded that same man. He pulled back the hood of his cloak to reveal short blonde hair. He also had facial hair which coupled with his deep voice and he had bright blue eyes like a blue ocean. He was a very handsome man and was much older than Forte.

  A purple aura covered his body and he started walking forward. His aura rushes towards Forte to instill her with fear but it turned out to be of no use. A blue aura covered Forte and pushed out against the blonde man's aura. This was a clash between their aura, a clash between their power. A big clash of blue and purple covered the entire village. A fight between beings that have entered the second awakening was about to begin. A battle of the ages.

  From Deniz perspective, this was a battle between 2 great existences and this could also be a learning experience for him. He can use this as an opportunity to know more about synergy.

  Rhitta and Rhosa were really worried about their mother. They never seen her fight and these 2 men did not look like good people. Deniz held them both close and prepared himself in case they needed to run. The people in the village looked at the clash of synergy. They didn't expect Forte of all people to be able to use this mythical power. They wondered if she read the books to everyone because she can use this power.

  The blonde man and Forte both dashed forward and both seemed to summon weapons in their hand. The blonde hair man summoned a golden rapier and Forte summoned a blood red double sided spear. They were only a foot away from each other when their weapons clashed creating a shockwave that blew everyone back.

  The blonde hair man proceeded to raise his left leg and kick Forte in order to drive her backwards. This would let him use his swordsman fighting style which was a rapier fighting style. Forte dodged the kick by jumping back.

  The blonde man got into a stance with one of his feet, a couple feet in front of the other as if he was in a leaning stance. This allowed him to have an extended reach with the rapier. He began to swing rapidly and precisely.

  The precise swings were accurate enough that they were slicing the skin on Forte's face causing her to bleed. In only a second, Forte had multiple bleeding scratches on her face from the rapier. The blonde hair man was better than Forte at fighting with weapons. She came to this conclusion after this series of thoughts as well as his movements. She was rusty from fighting, especially when using weapons. However, she was waiting...

  She was waiting for the perfect moment to block his strike and attack him. As the blonde haired man swung rapidly, she started dodging them as much as she can but she was still getting hit every few swings. She couldn't keep this up much longer.

  The moment the blonde haired man swung at her face, she countered the strike with her double sided spear and pushed the rapier to the side. This opened the man's stance up and he was vulnerable. His face was shocked and he didn't expect this to happen.

  Forte used the spear to pierce his chest and the spear went through his body. Blood splatted after she pulled her spear out of his body. The blonde haired man looked at her and simply laughed. Even though he was just stabbed, this was a weak wound and it didn't hit any vital spots.

  They were only a few feet away from each other when the guy raised his rapier and threw it towards Forte. Thinking between dodging or hitting it away, she reached out and grabbed the rapier on its blade. The blade cut her hand but she was able to stop it. Blood flowed from her hand and dripped on the ground.

  The blonde haired man looked at her and had a menacing smile, this was unexpected but it fell within his plan. He pointed at the sword and it...exploded!

  The rapier exploded in Forte's hand and left a cloud of smoke. When the smoke cleared, you can see that Forte's hand was no longer there. It was blown to pieces by the exploding rapier. This explosion was the trigger. This was the trigger that awakened Forte's original personality. The personality she never showed her kids. The personality that made her fearsome over 16 years ago in the sanctuary.

  Her aura exploded and covered the entirety of the village and even overshadowed the blonde haired man's aura. This was a pure psychotic aura. She haven't fought in over 16 years so she expected to get severely damaged. However with her kids here, she wouldn't stop fighting no matter what.

  She gave off the smile of an insane maniac as blood flowed from the wound where her hand used to be. The real battle was about to begin.

  What awaits the fate between these 2 beings who entered the 2nd awakening?
