Episode 001: “Crystal Monsters GO!”
Kouchu Misako is a boy who wants to not only be a Crystal Brawler–people who fight alongside Crystal Monsters–but thrives to be Master Champion.
But he has no fighting skills.
One night, Kouchu dreams of a mysterious cave and meets a monster named Somnus who seems to know him. He wakes up and heads to become a Crystal Brawler, getting Roaracryst from Professor Shari, even though they clash at first.
Kouchu meets Sakuro, who is stealing Crystal Balls under duress from the Menace Five. After helping return the Balls and escaping an attack, Roaracryst defends Kouchu and the two finally bond. They leave Justice Town together.
Episode 002: “Shauna’s Circumstances”
Kouchu heads to Clevergreen City and encounters a Birdono that tries to steal from him. He accidentally steals a CD from Shauna, a girl studying with Tutor CDs, to stop Birdono.
Shauna gets angry, but after Mouselette is hurt by the Menace Five, Kouchu helps save it. Shauna forgives him and decides to travel with him. Birdono secretly follows them.
Episode 003: “The Phathom Story”
While in Clevergreen City, Kouchu fails to catch a strong Ninecoat who’s stealing food. Later, Menace Five rob the CrystalMart, and the team teams up with police to stop them.
Ninecoat helps during a fight against Snakerie and earns their trust. Kouchu and Shauna invite Ninecoat to join their journey.
Episode 004: “Simon and the Medal!”
Kouchu, Shauna, and Ninecoat meet Simon, a librarian and medal holder. Kouchu learns that to become Master Champion, he must earn medals through field challenges.
Kouchu fails the first planting round, but after helping with sick Plantmore and repelling Pionpion, he earns a rematch. With Plantmore’s help, Kouchu wins and earns his first medal. Plantmore joins the team.

Episode 005: “As the Cave Exclaimed”
Fossolor warns the group about a cave under attack by the Fossolant king. While trying to help, Sakuro returns and rescues them from danger.
Sakuro falls during the rescue but is saved by Kouchu. He joins their team, and together they save the cave. Grateful Fossolors give them Crystal Balls.
Episode 006: “Haunted House Havoc!”
The group gets lost in a haunted house on their path and meets Gaston, a spirit of a Crystal Monster with image issues.
They help Gaston come to terms with himself and find his body, breaking the haunting curse. The team continues on Route 3.

Episode 007: “The Menace Five!”
The brawlers are lured to Valley Corners by a fake letter from the Menace Five. They are captured and asked to hand over the Crystal Balls.
They escape using fire—set by Ninecoat—to create a distraction. The Menace Five put out the flames while the heroes flee.
Episode 008: “Enters Marcy”
Back in Clevergreen City, Kouchu reunites with his childhood bully, Marcy, now working for the Menace Five. Her Maruka easily defeats Roaracryst.
Kouchu vows to become stronger. After failing again, the police arrest Marcy thanks to Shauna and Sakuro. Kouchu regains hope and continues his journey.
Episode 009: “The Bridge of Relief”
Trying to reach Blossomite City, the team finds the road blocked due to pollution. They attempt various creative ways to cross.
They finally succeed using Port and Plantmore, but are attacked by Octomites mid-crossing. Port calms the waters and they reach dry land safely.
Episode 010: “The Second Medal Revealed?”
In Blossomite City, Kouchu challenges Rebecca for a second medal but fails her garden test. He loses confidence and struggles to study.
After getting help from Mr. Bleam, Roaracryst gains a new ability. Kouchu retakes the test and wins with support from his friends. Rebecca gives him the second medal.
