In a quiet world, lush and unnaturally serene.
Ancient trees stretched impossibly high, their silver-veined leaves glowing faintly beneath shafts of filtered sunlight.
Vines hung like curtains, swaying gently as if whispering secrets.
The air here felt thicker, sweet, and charged with an ethereal energy that softly hummed against the skin.
Crystal-clear streams curved gracefully across the mossy ground, with some defying gravity, suspended midair like flowing ribbons.
Bioluminescent flowers blinked open in response to the sunlight, dotting the land with soft blues and purples.
Birds chirped gently, and small animals wandered freely. Everything felt... perfect.
Carved into the towering trees, bark white as moonlight with faintly glowing green veins, were bridges and homes made of woven bark and glowing stone, blending so naturally into their surroundings they seemed born from the forest itself.
Not far from the heart of this sanctuary, a shallow stream flowed lazily through a clearing, its waters as clear as glass.
In the middle of the stream, a group of elven children played, giggling as they splashed at one another. Their pointed ears twitched with every laugh, and their delicate features glowed beneath the enchanted canopy’s light.
Suddenly, one of them—a tiny elven girl with braided green hair and emerald eyes, stopped splashing and strode out of the water, her drenched clothes clinging to her small frame.
As her bare feet touched the earth, vines grew up from the soil and wrapped gently around her legs, forming dainty footwear with each step.
She stepped up onto a rock with theatrical grace, raising her chin like a noble storyteller before her audience. She glanced around at her playmates, eyes narrowed in seriousness.
“Enough playing,” she declared, puffing up her chest. “It’s time you all learned something important.”
The others blinked in confusion.
“Huh?”
“What do you mean?”
“Learn what?”
“I’m sure your parents haven’t told you this before,” she said grandly, hands on her hips, “so let me tell you a story today.”
The others perked up instantly.
"Ooooh, a story?"
"I'm curious!"
"Is it scary?"
"What’s it about?"
They scrambled to the edge of the stream, soaking wet and still giggling, and settled down with legs dangling into the water. Leaves sprouted beneath them, forming soft, leafy cushions.
“Has anyone ever heard of humans?” she asked, folding her arms.
"No!" they chorused, eyes wide and curious.
"Good." Her expression turned serious.
"Because Humans... are the most dangerous animals in the world. Vile, cruel, hideous, and unsightly."
"Ooooh!" The children gasped in shock.
"Yes! They are exactly as I say. This princess does not lie." She stood proud, hands on her tiny hips, wide eyes sweeping across her audience.
"Do you even know what 'human' means?"
"Nooo!" the children responded again, very attentive
"Thank the heavens you don’t! Because..." She crouched low and leaned in, her voice dropping ominously.
"What?" one child whispered, now visibly nervous.

She met the child’s gaze, then slowly drew a finger across her throat in a slashing motion.
"Ooooh!" They gasped again.
"Kill?!" one girl asked, trembling.
"No..."
"Phew..." The children exhaled in relief, only for her to drop the real horror
"They eat your flesh..." She started, her voice low and ominous
"Drink your blood..."
"What!" The children exclaimed in shock
"Munch on your bones..." She grinned
"And relish your intestines." She spread her arms wide towards them to scare them
"Arrrrgh!!" The children shrieked, some trying to run, others frozen in horror.
"Stop!" she barked, stomping her foot. Her face scrunched in fierce determination.
"I'm telling you! Humans are evil! They steal from nature, cut down trees, eat flesh, and they smell bad too!"
The children gasped again, shivering.
"They do what?!" a timid boy whimpered, eyes glossy with tears.
"They wear the skins of other beings—real ones! And they eat things that are still bleeding!"
"Eeeewww!!"
They squealed, huddling together in fright. Their imaginations now saw humans as terrifying monsters.
"If you ever see one..." she declared, voice rising like a commander, "don’t run like cowards... beat it to death!"
"Do you understand!?"
"Y-Y-Yes!" they stuttered back, terrified but obedient.
"That's the spirit! We elves are powerful, we don’t tremble before vicious creatures. We show them how powerful we—"
She couldn't finish her words when.....
BOOM!
The sky split open with a thunderous crash. Branches cracked, leaves rained down heavily, and the earth shuddered.
SPLAAAAASH!
A body slammed into the middle of the stream, sending a huge wave crashing in every direction. It bounced, flipped, and sprawled out on its back, groaning.
The elven children froze in terror.
The green-haired girl’s jaw dropped. “I-It’s a human!” she whispered.
Silence reigned.
"Arrrrghhh!"
One child screamed.
Another fainted.
The rest scattered like startled deer, tripping over themselves as they fled into the trees.
Jin Yu groaned and sat up, drenched and bruised. He blinked in confusion.
“…What the hell just happened…?”
From behind a bush, a tiny voice whispered in awe:
“Th-The stories were true… He fell from the sky!”
"Run before it eats your meat!" a young elven girl shrieked from the bushes, her voice high with terror as she bolted like a startled deer.
The others didn’t wait to confirm—they screamed and scattered in all directions, leaves rustling wildly as small feet thudded against the forest floor.
"STOP!"
The sharp voice of the green-haired elven girl cut through the chaos like a whip. A pulse of authority surged from her, and even the leaves trembled. The children froze mid-run, skidding awkwardly to a halt.
"How dare you run!" she snarled, eyes blazing. "Have you all forgotten my lectures?!"
They flinched.
"Come back here—NOW! Or I’ll whip every one of you!"
The kids hesitated, but her tone left no room for protest. One by one, they turned and crept back toward the stream, using tree trunks as makeshift shields. Their eyes peeked nervously at Jin Yu, who was still half-submerged in water, groaning and wincing.
His vision spun. Stars danced before his eyes. He looked like he might faint again.
"The beast is weak! It’s our chance!" the green-haired girl shouted, voice gleaming with confidence. "Attack!"
Roots burst from the ground, writhing like serpents as she controlled them with a flick of her hand. One root picked up a jagged stone and flung it at Jin Yu with deadly precision.
Thwack!
"Agh! What the hell!?" Jin Yu cried, barely managing to block the hit. More stones followed, flung with vines or bare hands.
Phewww! Pheeew! Thunk!
Each rock hit with a wet slap or sharp crack.
"You damn brats!" he cursed, arms flailing as he tried to protect himself. "If I catch you—!"
He raised his hand and swept it in a wide arc. A gust of spiritual force erupted.
Boom!
The barrage of stones reversed in midair, hurtling back like bullets.
"DODGE!" the green-haired girl screamed.
But they weren’t fast enough.
Thud! Whack! Bonk!
"Oooow!"
"Aaah!"
"Argh!"
Wails of pain burst from every bush. One kid clutched his forehead, rolling dramatically on the ground. Another sat frozen, a single tear wobbling in his eye.
"Waaaaah!" a little one finally broke, bawling loudly.
"Shut your mouth and take revenge!" the girl shouted, her voice sharp and commanding.
"Y-Y-Yes!" the sobbing kid whimpered and shakily hurled another stone using a vine.
The others followed her lead but smartened up—this time, they stayed hidden behind thick trees.
Jin Yu deflected their attacks again with ease.
"You wanna throw rocks, huh?" he hissed. "If I don’t beat you till your ears ring, my surname isn’t Jin!"
He rose from the stream, soaked and furious. His long hair came undone, clinging to his face and shoulders, flinging droplets with every movement. A faint aura of frustration buzzed around him.
"He’s not getting hit anymore!" a tired kid shouted. His face was flushed, his breath ragged. Others looked equally drained, sweat dripping down their brows.
"Stop throwing stones! Use the trees!" the green-haired girl barked.
Vines uncoiled and shot toward Jin Yu like whips.
Whissss!
But Jin Yu didn’t even blink.
With another wave of his hand, the vines froze midair and whipped backward, reversing their momentum.
"Aaaaaargh!"
The forest filled with panic as the vines wrapped around each child, binding them tightly like packages ready for delivery.
Thump!
They fell one after another, tangled and groaning.
"You little pieces of shit," Jin Yu muttered, stepping over the vines as he approached the green-haired girl. Her face was still defiant, jaw clenched despite her situation.
"So, you're the boss, huh?" he growled. "You're the one who started all this?"
Without warning, he grabbed her by the hair and lifted her up. She dangled like a caught kitten—arms flailing, legs kicking.
"You brat. I should eat all of you just to balance the damage to my poor skull."
WAAAAAAAH!
Terrified sobs echoed as the bound kids burst into tears.
But the girl in Jin Yu’s grip stared straight at him, undaunted.
"Stinky human! You think I’m scared of you? My parents will come and tear you apart!"
Jin Yu blinked, stunned by her nerve. Is this girl for real?!
Her fierce glare irritated him more than the pain in his skull.
"You’re really bold, huh? Let’s see how long that lasts."
He hoisted her higher and—
Pah!
A loud slap echoed.
Her eyes went wide.
"You—!"
Pah!
Another slap.
Fury +100
Fury +200
Fury +300
Jin Yu smirked at the text flashing in his vision.
Pah!
"You vicious animal! How dare you harass me!"
Fury +500
Jin Yu chuckled. "Such a young girl, yet so much rage. I’m just getting warmed up."
Pah!
"You ANIMAL! Let me go!"
Pah!
"BEAST!"
Pah!
Her face turned red, puffed up with frustration, until finally—
WAAAAAAAH!
She exploded into tears.
Jin Yu smiled, then let out a satisfied sigh.
"So you can cry. Good."
Fury +700
He dropped her onto the ground like a sack of carrots.
"Now then…" He turned toward the others. "Time to roast the rest of you. What a coincidence—I’m starving!"
"Noooo!"
"Please don’t!"
"I want my mommy!"
"Didn't your fearless leader say monsters eat people?" Jin Yu said darkly. "Well guess what? You poked the wrong one today!"
The cries of terrified children rang out through the forest.
