Talia looked up at bond, no, at Naya. The woman had piercing golden eyes and long platinum hair.
As Talia looked up into Naya's eyes, she felt something in the back of her mind tingling. She could feel something slowly beginning to expand and connect. Before she could focus on that, Talia felt her stomach rumbling and hunger battering at her. At the feeling of hunger, Naya reached down, grabbed a piece of her egg and offered it to her.
Talia's eyes focused on the piece of eggshell. She slithered forward and bit into eggshell. The eggshell crunched, breaking down into pieces and then dissolving into mana in her stomach.
As Talia ate the egg, she looked around herself. She noticed that there were a lot of people here and felt herself curling up slightly. Slithering up and around Naya's arm, she looked around at everyone watching her. No, watching them.
All the people, and a lizard, were looking at her and her twin Tyan. She could feel emotions battering at the edge of her mind, held off but not fully obscured. Tentatively reaching out and feeling at the bond, she could feel the emotions of those in front of her.
She could feel excitement, elation, and more. Feelings of love and support were gently trickling through the bond and into her. Talia could the bond could support more emotions than she was currently feeling but didn't know why she wasn't getting more. Talia started trying to push her question through the bond only to feel he stomach once again rumble.
As it rumbled Naya offered her another piece of eggshell. Biting down in the shell, Talia got to eating the shell. Each time she started finishing up the shell another one was ready for her to eat up. As she ate, Talia felt her mind numbing as sleep took over.

As the two sea serpents feel asleep Naya used her intent to isolate the two of them and prevent any noise from disturbing them.
The millisecond her intent had stabilized chaos erupted.
"Twins!"
"You hatched twins!"
"Oh, sea serpents, you didn't have any of those."
"I wonder how strong they will be once they get some experience."
"I hear that twins sometimes get synergistic Talents, I wonder if they got those types of Talents."
"Hmm, sea serpents. I wonder what kinds of fighting styles they will develop. I can probably get some fitting growth items for the two."
Naya smiled to herself at the chaos that erupted. Huginn was already thinking about Growth items he might be able to get his hands on. Sanfu, of course, was already thinking about fighting them. Turning around, Naya grabbed Sanfu by the scruff of the neck.
"Hey, I need you to go out and get these items from the city." Naya forwarded the list to her [AI]. "I got enough stuff for one bond but i wasn't expecting twins."
Sanfu's hand shot up and saluted her. "Aye Aye captain." With that Sanfu disappeared in a puff of void mana.
Looking back over all of her gathered she saw that the only one not celebrating or really reacting at all was Domgander. He simply stood there, watching the two sea serpents, his face as expressionless and cold. Despite that, Naya noticed the minute rise of the corner of his mouth and the way that his domain had protectively wrapped around the twin serpents. To anyone else they would see someone cold and emotionless, to Naya, Domgander was just as if not more emotional and expressive than anyone else.
Naya clapped her hands quieting everyone. "I know everyone is excited to have not one, but two new members added to our family." Naya said with a large smile on her face. "We will all have plenty of time to meet and get to know them. That said, we don't want to bombard and overwhelm them." That got a couple sheepish glances, but everyone nodded. "I know that all of you are excited to equip the two with the best you can get your hands on." She shot a glare at Huginn and Ebor, the treasure raven and crystal porcupine. "Just remember to keep everything within the rules." She pointed at Kai. "Speaking of Talents, we should have them scanned to see what their Talents are.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Flipping her hand over a small, handheld Talent scanner appeared. Taking the scanner up to Tyan, she used it to scan him.
Tier 1 Talent Determined.
Water you are manipulating can't be seen by anyone but you.
Naya's eyebrow rose at that. That was a very good Talent, it wouldn't offer him direct power, but it would be strong.
Turning, she used the Talent scanner on Talia.
Tier 1 Talent Determined
You are able to store water in your body
Secondary Effect: You are able to freely manipulate water stored in your body.
Naya nodded slowly at Talia's Talent. It wouldn't do anything for her except give her a pool of water to pull on and possibly increase her weight, depending on how it worked. At first glance it wouldn't be as immediately useful as Tyan's but you were never really able to get an idea of a Talents usefulness till T3.
As Naya was looking over the Talents there was a puff of void mana and Sanfu appeared next to her.
"Hey! Why didn't you wait for me?" She said, her slightly childish face turning into a pout.
When a beast designed their form they would all but pluck the image of what their bond found attractive out of the bonds head. In fact many beasts would do that. Naya's earlier bonds had in fact done that, it was why Skoll and Hattie looked like twins with the only difference being the color of their hair, fur and eyes.
Most of Naya's bonds had done exactly that and it was why they tended to look like siblings. Sanfu in particular had diverged a bit from the normal base template they all tended to use.
Her human form was on the shorter side, with void black hair and fur, and a pair of bunny ears sticking out of her head. She had gone with a more youthful look. She was very distinctly adult but looked to be closer to nineteen or twenty. With a very well endowed form, and features that leaned more towards cute than anything else, and her smile. Her smile was full of mischief and wild fun.
Naya flicked Sanfu's forehead. "I sent it to your [Ai], you'll be fine."
Sanfu rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah, I know." Her eyes flicked to the side for a moment. "Tyan's Talent looks pretty good but I'm actually more interested in how Talia's Talent will turn out and what she will do with it." With a flick of her hand, a collar, a bed, a sack of water beast food, some beast toys and a variety of other things appeared next to her. "Here's those items you wanted."
Naya patted Sanfu on the head, scratching her behind the ear in the spot she loved. "Thank you for getting those items for me. I think that Cirvys and Dezu are making up some stuff for everyone." Before her words were done Sanfu had disappeared in a burst of void mana.
Naya rolled her eyes and turned to Huginn. "Did you manage to get ahold of those potions of beastial clarity?"
Huginn gave Naya a hurt look. "Do you really think that I can't easily get ahold of a secondary T15 potion. I've already got one on the planet on top of the one that I already had prepared and I could have another five within the next couple days."
Naya rolled her eyes. "I know I know, you are a Talented seeker with the guild you built up with Cirde." Naya said teasingly. Naya opened her mouth to say something only for her to pause. A moment later she opened her mouth and continued speaking. "It seems that Valvesh wasn't able to get ahold of the Bone Vulture egg that he had his eyes set like he thought he would be able to. He was wondering if there were any eggs you could get ahold of for you. He also mentioned he had a vial of Temporal Cicada bloodline essence for you if you could."
Huginn's eyes widened at that. "He actually managed to get ahold of a vial?" Huginn asked, his eyes wide. At Naya's nod he continued. "Ok, I can probably find something." Huginn's eye flickered back and forth for a moment before speaking. "You were hoping for Tyan and Talia to grow up with Valveshe's new bond correct?" At Naya's nod he continued.
"Based off of your personalities and since the new bonds will inherit a portion of it chances are they will end up friends. You two are probably hopping they will form a team together." Huginn looked up into Naya's. "I planned on trying to hold the void dragon egg until you tiered up. Are you fine with Valvesh getting it."
Naya gave Huginn a lop sided smile. "Huginn, do you really think that I would care about something like that? I think that Valvesh would be an excellent choice for a bond. He will be more than capable of providing an appropriate healer, I'm even sure that Irin would insist on being the little dragons healer."
Huginn nodded. "Then I can almost certainly get ahold of that egg if he's fine with it. Did he have something that would be able to boost the beasts mental acumen?"
Naya nodded. "Yeah, he said that he would be fine on that front. He managed to get his hands on an elixir of Serpent Sage's Sagacity." Naya's eye flickered for a moment. "He said that he would be more than happy with a void dragon egg."
Huginn nodded. "Tell him I'll have it here in two or three weeks." Huginn waved his hand at her, signaling for her to go away. "While I'm waiting for the twins to wake up, I've got some searching to do. Now that I know what kind of bonds they are I need to find some matching growth items and skills." Despite his words, there was a smile in his voice.
Naya chuckled and walked away. Looking into her spirit she willed her peaked at took a peak at the new form and smiled, Once the twins had woken up and gotten settled in she would have some fun.
