Bright, blue skies. Fluffy, white clouds. Lush, green grass. The pure colors of nature. Far in the distance, a cozy and homely village with wooden brown walls, sturdy red roofs, and stone grey chimneys. The colors of civilization.

  Beneath one's feet, a sandy beige path. A winding, curving path splits through the grasslands to guide travelers to this village. The sights all around are beautiful, glorious, and filled with untold adventures to be had.

  On one's first step, the words call out...

  "Hello! Welcome, [Player], to the World of [Niwaki]!"

  A newcomer to the lands, the "player" as the voice refers to them. This wandering soul stands before the lands of Niwaki, taking in all the sights. There is a sense of purpose in the player, a feeling that the player is drawn to everything Niwaki has to offer.

  The player takes a deep, deep breath of the fresh Niwaki air, and looks in the direction of the voice. Right before the player, a cute floating creature. Its shape resembles a cross of a jellyfish and a mushroom, a floating and glowing layer of white jelly encasing pure orange. It is the size of a basketball, bouncing and bobbing in the air as it delightfully greets the player.

  By design, this is the "Guide Jelly", the entity in charge of information. It floats innocently before the player, pure delight in its eyes-only face as sparkles come from its cheerful gaze. The Guide Jelly holds information inside of it, the entity designed and meant to teach the basics and essentials of life.

  "Before you can come into [Niwaki], we must prepare you for the adventure ahead of you!" the Guide Jelly tells the player, swirling in place as it delightfully informs the player. "Here in [Niwaki], you will live your life in an endless world of possibilities! Of hope, of fun, of dreams upon dreams! You must learn the ways of the world if you are to enjoy [NIwaki] to its fullest!"

  Spontaneously, a tree sprouts out of the ground. Conjured and created out of nothing, the tree stands at a height only twice as tall as the player. Its leaves are shaped into a well-trimmed triangle, flowing in the wind with a beautifully realistic shadow behind it.

  "People in [Niwaki] rely on trees, collecting them each and every day!" the Guide Jelly exclaims, flying around the tree with pure energy and vigor. "To extract the wood from this tree, please focus with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and conjure the shape of your trusty [Axe of Light]!"

  Thus, with power, focus, and determination... the player holds their hand out, and a bright white light forms in their hand. It stretches out into a handle, with a curved blade forming at the very top. The player has called forth their axe.

  "Wonderful!" the Guide Jelly exclaims. "Now, [Player], please! Use your [Axe of Light] to chop down the tree before you! Swing the blade and harvest!"

  The player, promptly, walks up to the tree and swings at the tree. The player chops the tree again, and again, and again, before... the tree falls, and bundles of wood appear in its place. Wood that flies up and goes into the player's body. The player has obtained wood.

  "Amazing! Such work...! [Player], your wood-chopping ability is, by far, the greatest I've ever had the honor to behold!" the Guide Jelly praises, stars and hearts coming from its eyes as it stares at the player in pure admiration. "As you can see, the tree provides you the invaluable resource of wood! But trees are not the only resource that the people of [Niwaki] rely on! There is also... stone!"

  Promptly, a large rock spawns out of the ground. It's about half the size of the player, compared to the tree being twice. The chunk of rock is a mix of dark and light gray, rigid and jagged.

  "Following the same steps... visualize, in your mind, your [Pick of Light]!" the Guide Jelly exclaims, flying straight over to the chunk of stone and resting on top of it. Cute, sparkly sounds come from it as it stares at the player. "Create the [Pick of Light] in your heart, [Player], and unleash upon this stone your power!"

  The player does as instructed, dispelling the axe and focusing once more. The player's heart trembles and shakes as the handle is created once more, the light morphing to create a jagged and sharp head... and thus, a pickaxe has been created, the "Pick of Light". A tool designed to strike rocks in Niwaki.

  "Now, [Player]! Hold the [Pick of Light] in your hands, and strike!" the Guide Jelly exclaims, jumping up from the rock and flying away.

  The player, promptly, begins to strike the rock. Again, and again, and again...! Then the rock shatters into small apple-sized chunks of stone, flying into the player's body like the bundles of wood did. The player has harvested stone.

  The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

  "Amazing! You're amazing, [Player]!" the Guide Jelly exclaims, its body pulsing brightly. "See how the stone breaks apart and bestows upon you rock and stone? You have collected [Wood], and now [Stone]! If you want to access those resources, hold your hand out... and open your menu! With the power of your mind, your [Menu of Light] will appear over the top of your list, which will give you bountiful amounts of information vital to your life in [Niwaki]!"

  The player holds their hand out, and a rectangle screen appears over their wrist. At the current moment, a modestly white panel with gray tabs on the side, many of which have question marks arranged like "???" on them. The only ones that aren't just question marks are the "Inventory" tab and the "Stats" tab.

  The Guide Jelly smiles as the player looks at this menu. "Of course, there's no need to use your resources, yet! They will become very important later on! So, please, close your menu and we can continue!"

  The player does so, lowering their arm. The menu disappears and dispels the moment their arm goes below their chest.

  "Now, there's only one more thing you must do before you are ready!" the Guide Jelly exclaims. "So far, your vital resources have been [Wood] and [Stone]! Very passive resources. However, immobile trees and rocks are not the only things that exist in [NIwaki]'s wilds..."

  Immediately, a round potato-shaped boar appears out of nowhere. Its fur is dirt brown, its tusks are ivory white, and its eyes are a monstrous green. The boar stares and glares at the player, absolutely filled with visceral hate, having the face of something that wants to hurt the player.

  "... in [Niwaki], everything is possible, including things that want to hurt you!" the Guide Jelly exclaims, pointing at the boar with one of its jelly appendages. "This [Wild Boar] here is looking to hurt you, ready to strike when you least expect it! You must ready yourself for combat! Call forth your weapon! Call forth your [Sword of Light]!"

  The player dispels the "Pick of Light" and promptly creates the sword. It forms far easier than the axe and pick, as the handle of the developing sword is created immediately. A long, sharp blade encases the handle, quickly and suddenly. The sword is pronounced and bright, heavy in the player's hand. It takes some time to get used to it, but the player is now holding their "Sword of Light".

  "Amazing! Now, strike! Steel yourself and vanquish this threat!" the Guide Jelly exclaims, spinning and swirling again. "Get in range with your [Sword of Light], [Player]!"

  The player approaches the boar, walking closer at first before engaging in combat. Everywhere the player walks, the boar stares forward at the player. The two lock eyes with each other, the boar kicking at the ground behind it.

  "Good! Now... kill it," the Guide Jelly tells the player. "Kill it, now."

  On the Guide Jelly's instruction... the player runs in and strikes, swinging and slashing at the boar. The blade hits the boar, inflicting damage as the blade goes deep into the boar's body. With that strike, a number comes from its body. A bright, vibrant, and red "-5" appears out of the boar's body, a negative 5 to represent the boar suffering 5 points of damage.

  It's not enough to take the boar out, however.

  So the player slashes...

  ... and slashes...

  ... and slashes.

  The player strikes and attacks the boar again...

  ... and again...

  ... and again.

  Over and over again.

  Multiple flashing "-5" spawn from the boar with each strike.

  The boar remains completely still as the player hurts it, continuing to kick the ground behind it. It does not attack, it does not flee. The boar only squeals with each attack.

  As the combat unfolds, the Guide Jelly stares at the player. Its eyes are unblinking as the player strikes the boar. It remains quiet as the player fights the boar.

  This goes on again.

  And again...

  ... and... again...

  ... until...

  Poof!

  The boar explodes into dust, and in its place... chunks of meat with a singular bone sticking out of it.

  "Good!" the Guide Jelly exclaims, brightening up with cheer once again. "With the boar slain, it has dropped [Meat]! All entities are capable of dropping such things, which people in [Niwaki] call... [Loot]!"

  The player stands still as the meat flies up and into their body... and, suddenly, the player's body flashes yellow!

  "Oh! And with the boar slain, you've leveled up!" the Guide Jelly exclaims. "You can see in your [Stats] that you are now [Level 2], [Player]! When next you sleep and rest, you will be able to improve yourself further, capable of increasing your [Stats] as you so wish!"

  After saying this, the Guide Jelly then floats next to the player and wraps one of its jelly appendages around the player's shoulders. "Anyway! My, you're amazing, [Player]! With that, you're now ready to live in the world of [Niwaki]! I have nothing else to teach you, [Player]!"

  Once the Guide Jelly tells the player this, it promptly begins leading the player along, pulling them along the path and sending them walking to the village.

  "So with that, onward you go! Welcome, once again, to the World of [Niwaki]!" the Guide Jelly exclaims, encouraging the player with an eager wave.

  The player walks along, equipped with the bare essentials of life in Niwaki, learning how to collect wood and stone, look deep inside themselves, and defend themselves from enemies! They are ready!

  The Guide Jelly watches this and stares as the player walks off, wiping a tear from its eye. It turns back to the path behind it and waves its appendage to erase all traces of wood, stone, and boar. Then, it floats back into position, pauses and waits, and then...

  ... another person appears out of nowhere.

  The next player.

  The next player to behold all of Niwaki, looking out at all the sights before them. Taking in all the colors, seeing the beauty of nature. Then, with one step forward...

  "Hello! Welcome, [Player], to the World of [Niwaki]!" exclaims the Guide Jelly.
