  Somewhere in Deep-Harbor city.

  Night time.

  *Argh*

  After the st person was dealt with, I holstered my desert eagle and looked around and saw the carnage I did since I've been very annoyed that someone is spying on me, I have to make a random direction everytime I go out or do my job.

  “At least 7 people have been dealt with.” I thought.

  All of them are probably thinking since I went inside of an abandoned warehouse, thinking that they could take me on is a big error on their part. The inside of the warehouse had some red paint due to the blood spattered on it.

  “I just hope the main event will come now and enough of this cloak and dagger.” I thought while I heard some cars that probably more of them will come.

  “Time to finish this.”I thought while I summoned raging fury on my right hand.

  At least 10 more people came in with robes to hide their identity but a single person is in a bck business suit.

  “If you surrender now, I will—-.” the man was going to finish his speech but I interrupted by saying don’t speak, just die already.

  The man got pissed and told his people to activate their spell but I used the fsh step in front of the man and ended his life by removing his head with my raging fury. Some of them manage to finish their spell and oh boy did they summon imps from doom 3, at least 7 of them. I use fsh step backward since these people cannot control the creatures they summon and some of them get ripped apart to be eaten.

  “Bad luck eh?” I thought while I dealt with these imps while they were busy eating their supposed masters. The fight did not long despite those imps were trying there best to avoid me.

  "Not bad for a warm up." I thought while I put the bde to the scabbard slowly.

  It did not take long for a big green magic circle suddenly appear on the floor and summon three monsters that are 10 feet tall and has a goat legged.

  I immediately use fsh step to slice the legs of one of them and fsh step towards a safe distance and put the bde to the scabbard. I suddenly point my left hand use the spell firebolt towards the monster that I just slice its leg to kill it.

  "Looks things are getting interesting." I thought while I ready myself to fight.

  Ingrid P.O.V

  Mistakes were made since I forgot that these people called for backup and now my nephew is dealing with these people. Considering his status, he can win this but I am calling for some back up. Right now I am in a helicopter with Verdun since Victoria let her son come with me.

  “Thank you for coming and apologizing in advance since you might be painting a crosshair on your back.” I said it to Verdun.

  “Then help me or my family when these people try to send more people in the future.” Verdun replied.

  I give him a nod and after nding near the area where my nephew is, I tell the pilot to get out of here once I get out of the helicopter.

  I summoned my pair of bracers and began coating both of my arms with lighting. Both of us hear some dreams that do not belong to any human, both of us rush in and see my nephew fighting a pair of 9 feet tall creatures that release green color fireballs.

  Verdun suddenly teleports at the back of one of the monsters and cuts its right leg with his katana, meanwhile I release lighting from my left hand and hit the other monster and it shocks the monster to death.

  “This pair of monsters are releasing demonic energy.” Verdun said it while he put the bde on the scabbard.

  I look around and see a magi book but before I grab the book, I hear a cough that is probably fake.

  “Nice for the two of you to come.” Altmann chuckled while he also put the bde to the scabbard slowly.

  “Well, I made a mistake but how about the two of you get to know first while I get that book on the floor and examine it.” I told my nephew.

  As both Verdun and my nephew introduced themself and had a conversation, I went towards the book and before I grabbed it on the floor, It begun to float in front of me. I step back even further since I don’t know what would happen as it floats and spins in front of me. It releases a bright light and after that, it just summons a bunch of monsters but the book is nowhere to be found.

  Asakura P.O.V

  I was just talking to Verdun after my niece and he took care of the pair of monsters after I dealt those imps and It just so happened that the st dying person in his blood managed to use that damn book to summon more monsters before he passed away. And at least 10 monsters were floating from the ground a little bit.

  The look of the monsters.

  “Be careful, I could sense demonic energy from them.” Verdun warned the both of us.

  “I see.” I grip raging fury on my right hand and summon my bdes of nullification and it starts spinning around me while the bde is pointed downwards.

  The of us were on back to each other as Ingrid just summoned a longsword on her right hand made out of ice.

  “The three of us should be careful.” Ingrid said it.

  Suddenly, one of the monsters teleports but more like my fsh step and heading towards Ingrid, I intercept it, ssh its left hand with my raging fury and kill the monster by decapitating its head. And the fighting starts after I kill its comrade and the fight starts and it only sts for 8 minutes. I did not get out of that fight unharmed and I got at least three cw marks that probably will become a scar, one on my right shoulder, one on my chest and one on my left leg. Ingrid only got one cut on her left shoulder except for Verdun considering he is a hybrid. My aunt asked me if I was ok and I said yes.

  “Take these potions.” I grab the two red potions from her.

  I drink those potions one by one while I am hearing a siren and that’s probably the cops. Ingrid said that she will take care of the cops and went ahead outside of the warehouse.

  “You seem to be able to handle yourself.” Verdun chuckled after that.

  “Well, I need to, considering my status.” I replied while I felt the effect of the potions towards my injuries.

  Both of us continue our conversation and get acquainted with both of us. I give my phone number while he does the same too.

  “If you can, Let’s go to work together.” Verdun asks.

  “I’ll take 40 percent of the payment.” I replied.

  “You make a generous offer.” Verdun smirks.

  I tell him that most of the time I cull the herds of monsters and sell the magic crystal found on the body towards the guild.

  “I have a steady income, and make sure the job is in another country so that I have a reason to go out.” I said it.

  “I see, you are the one who reaches A-rank in the guild faster.” Verdun said it.

  I give him a nod and I see Ingrid coming towards us.

  “I already talked to the police and I also called some people to help the police. Also, these people who are coming here will be collecting the monster’s corpse. The three of us just have to wait for them to get here and your uncle is calling you.” Ingrid said it.

  The three of us were standing outside of the warehouse so that the police could do their job. After waiting for two hours a helicopter nded near the warehouse and I saw my other aunt Seraphina with Excel and Calisa walk towards us.

  “You hurt?” Excel asks.

  “I already drink some potions to deal with it.” I replied.

  “Must be a tough one.” Calisa said.

  I tell both of them what happened and what kind of enemy I end up facing, before both of them can say anything, Ingrid came to us and said that it's time to leave and Seraphina will stay behind among the people Seraphina brought in. Verdun said his goodbye and opened a portal towards his family’s mansion while I, Ingrid, Excel and Calisa went inside of the helicopter that will take us to our mansion.

  NEXT DAY

  Here I am in redgrave city again and I am going to visit Dante after I get my 1983 Honda CR125 from Freedie and put it in my dimensional bracelet. I knock on the door and I hear Dante’s voice telling me to come in.

  “I guess this time the both of us can have a proper conversation.” I said it to Dante while I walked towards his desk.

  “That’s right. By the way, did the authority ask you something about who’s responsible for that tower?” Dante asks.

  “I did not tell who’s responsible but they ask me to keep it quiet, Why?” I asked him.

  Dante says that Arkham is responsible for that tower and both he and Lady did not tell who’s real responsibility of that tower.

  “I was hoping you would keep it a secret, since you fight Vergil on that tower.” Dante said it to me.

  “Seems like there is more to it, Don’t worry about it since my lips are sealed.” Considering Dante’s status and his retionship towards his brother Vergil.

  “So, any interesting story you have?” Dante asks while he properly sits at his chair since he got his feet on the table.

  “You have to forget me since I don’t have one.” I said it while I sat at his table.

  “By the way, what’s your opinion about this bzer and magus thing, especially that random portal opening.” Dante asked for my opinion.

  I tell him that a new opportunity but with danger and also the magus won’t be hiding in the future.

  “Also, you can register in the guild to have a job. Mostly culling the herd and getting those magic stones inside the body, selling it to the guild.” I replied.

  “That’s probably more work.” Dante shrugged his shoulders.

  “I mean, you can pay your bills.” I chuckled.

  Dante gave me a disappointed look and I kinda forgot how zy he can be.

  “Just try it. No harm will come to that and you can buy the foods you want.” I said.

  I could see Dante's ziness with my two eyes in real life now.

  “Alright, Alright, maybe I'll give it a shot in the future. Looks like it won't be demons that I have to deal with in the future.” Dante was a little bit excited.

  “You might get your wish in the future but be careful about it.” I replied to Dante.

  Before Dante can talk, the door to his building opens and Patty suddenly enters the conversation.

  “Hey, I know you, You help mom.” Patty said it.

  “Indeed, I am. Why are you here?” I ask her even if I know why she is here.

  Patty said that her mom let her be here as long as she wants.

  “Just be a good girl okay?” I said it.

  “Ah huh, at least I am not the same person who is just zy around here.” Patty teases Dante.

  I also noticed that Patty decorated Dante’s office as I looked around. The main door opened, Patty was going to greet the guest but this person suddenly spoke.

  “Hmm, seems like your sense of style has improved a lot since we st met hasn’t.” This person walks around Dante’s office.

  “And then you, if I'm not mistaken, would be Patty Lowell.” Lady said it while she looked out the window.

  “How do you know? Am I famous or a kind of celebrity or something.” Patty asks.

  “The little girl hanging around the devil may cry has become quite the subject of gossip in this town.” Lady answered.

  “But it’s not like you came all this way just have a look at this brat now is it.” Dante replied why I chuckled.

  “You Mr. Exalted cobalt, your reputation precedes you.” Lady said it to me.

  “Why thank you Ms.Mary.” I chuckled while she gave me a gre and ultimately shrugged her shoulders.

  “What are you here for? It's about some job, thanks but no thanks.” Dante replied why he ate a slice of pizza.

  “I see your cold as always. I could just give the job to him.” Lady said it to Dante.

  “Because the only jobs you bring me are shit jobs and they don’t pay.” Dante replied.

  “That’s a fine way to talk, are you aware of how much money you owe me? But you get it. I’m here today to collect. You’re the detective, you should have figured that out.” Lady says.

  “Oh dy, I think you’re the one who doesn't get it. I’m so deep and dead I can’t even keep track. Maybe I will take his offer about this guild thing. And I couldn’t pay you back now even if I wanted to, which I don’t.” Dante says.

  “Well, I was aware of that at any rate. What can you do? How about a bet? If I put the eight ball in, you take the job I got for you unconditionally. Are you game?” Lady said it while she prepared the cue stick.

  “You might lose Dante.” I said while I watched Lady and went near the billiard table.

  “You can never do things a simple way can you? It's a deal. And if you miss you can forgive my debts to you and give the job to him. Dante said while still zing around his desk.

  I nodded and shrugged since I knew it was going to happen.

  It did not take long for Lady to score the eight ball and I ughed a little bit and Dante stood up in his chair.

  “That was great.” Patty replied to Lady’s scoring the eight ball.

  “Shit, alright, damn it, you should just be a hustler. You make more cash don’t you think?” Dante prepares himself for work.

  “Just hitting a ball doesn’t do it for me. I have a need to annihite and destroy.” Lady responded.

  “So, who’s the poor son of a bitch this time?” Dante asks.

  “Demons.” Lady responded.

  Lady also asked what I was going to do.

  “Well, I got some time and am taking a break and I was hoping to catch up to Dante after that tower. But life gets in my way.” I replied.

  “You can just wait here and look out to my office.” Dante says.

  “You're going to pay me? Also, I don’t mind if I go with both of you.” I smirked at Dante.

  Dante shrugged his shoulders and I told both of them as I waited for them outside. I use my dimensional bracelet to get my 1983 Honda CR125 and start it.

  “That some antique bike you got there.” Lady was looking at my 1983 Honda CR125.

  “I haven't got the time to repce it and besides, I grew to like this bike.” I replied.

  All of us go to the job’s site after Dante starts up his car. And after one hour of travel time, I could hear music and hear a bunch of teenagers dancing and probably having the time of their life. And also, a lot of bikers. All of us get out of our vehicles and proceed towards the teenagers.

  “What the hell is this? There is no way in hell these morons can be the demons you are talking about. Dante said it while we approached these bikers.

  “Look, as far the highway department is concerned these guys are real demons. Are you sacred?” Lady replies.

  “Don’t mess with me, why would a demon hunter waste time taking out a bunch of bikers.” Dante was a little bit disappointed.

  “Hmm, and that's exactly why I'm giving the job to a jack of all trades like you. Because I don’t know what the highway department was thinking but they came to me with the job so I—” Lady stop saying while Dante said that he is going home.

  “What’s wrong?” Lady asks.

  “Can’t use swords or guns when dealing with humans. In a way they’re more a pain in the ass to deal with than with real demons.” Dante argued to Lady and he also said that I could have the job.

  “Give it a try. Maybe there is more to it.” I argue with Dante.

  “He’s right and I mean really who needs worlds or weapons to deal with these panties. Follow me.” Lady says.

  Before I followed them, I saw a pair of bikers were looking at my 1983 Honda CR125. I tell Lady and Dante that I'll entertain some folks that were looking at my bike.

  “Can I help you?” I tell the pairs of bikers.

  “Can you tell where you got this bike? I mean this bike is ancient now.” A teenager said with a little excitement.

  Now that he points it out, it's already been a very long time since I met Dante and Lady. Next year I am already in my 30s but my augmentation made me look like a young teenager in his 20s and won’t die due to old age.

  “This bike is still working since some shops have some parts to be repced if needed.” I replied quickly.

  “A off-road bike eh?” another teenager asks.

  “Yes, since I got a house in the middle of a forest that has electricity and I prefer a quiet surrounding.” I replied.

  Both teenagers nod and say their goodbye after looking at my bike.

  “Bike enthusiastic eh.” I thought while I went towards Dante and Lady.

  As I got closer, Dante and the leader of the group raced. Lady said that I could follow them if I wanted to. I went back to my Honda and waited for the both of them to start the race. After Lady gives the go signal, I wait for Dante and the leader of the group to gain some distance. After that, I start my 1983 Honda CR125 and go after them. I slow down a little bit and see Lady with her motorcycle follow them, she gives me a nod and I speed up a little bit.

  “I know that Dante will take care of it but I come along in case of some surprises.” I thought while I drove my 1983 Honda CR125.

  It did not take long that I felt something and probably the demon and I better speed up since Dante started shooting the Girders of the bridge. I could already see some parts falling and I managed to catch up with Dante. Dante already shoots the tire of the other motorcycle and I see Lady throw rebellion towards Dante. Dante and Lady argue for a while and Dante starts pushing to the limits of his burrowed motorcycle.

  “He got this.” I said it out loud after I reached Lady.

  “I know, And also, you still got time right? Maybe we can talk after this?” Lady asks.

  “Sure.” I answer.

  Lady went ahead and jumped from her motorcycle to deal with the demon and finish the job after using her Kalina Ann and nd on her motorcycle. I stop my 1983 Honda CR125 on Dante’s right side.

  “And here I thought you left by now.” Dante said it after he finished the demon.

  “Just observing and probably will back you up if you need to. You probably don’t need it.” I replied after I turned off the engine of my 1983 Honda CR125 while sitting on my bike.

  “Have faith will ya.” Dante chuckled.

  “You had pns to use me all along.” Dante said it to Lady.

  “Sorry, actually this is the real job the highway department wanted to have done. Girls gonna do what a girl’s gonna do.” Lady replied.

  “You can never do things the simple way can you.” Dante said it.

  “Maybe, but can’t ever simply do what I ask you.” Lady argued.

  “You’re damn right I wouldn’t. Dante replied.

  The three of us can hear the leader calling for his brother and run towards it. Once he stopped in front of it, it suddenly deformed.

  “Brother.” The leader said while he held something in despair.

  The three of us heard the siren and probably the cops and Lady expined the situation after the cops went towards us. Dante said his goodbye while Lady asked if I am going home now.

  “Nope.” I answer.

  “Well then can we talk to a bar? Got something that needs some answers and some questions.” Lady said it while she went to her bike.

  She also tells me to follow since she knows a bar and after 30 minutes of travel time, the two of us go inside of the bar after I put my 1983 Honda CR125 in my dimensional bracelet. The two of us sit at the farthest.

  “So, what’s you been doing tely? I haven’t seen you since that tower incident.” Lady said after she sat on her chair.

  “I went in another direction to help people. The tower is going back to where it belongs and there is no need to stay.” I said it after I sat down on my chair.

  A waiter came towards us and asked for our order. I tell the waiter for vodka while Lady asks for a beer.

  Lady asked for my opinion on these monsters from another portal, portal suddenly opening and monsters will pour in and especially this magus and bzers situation.

  “Let the bzers deal with the public for a while and I had a feeling that in the future, magus will step on the spotlight.” I said it.

  “Looks like you know the situation.” Lady chuckled.

  “If you got a file on me then you know my family.” I replied.

  “I know and to think you’re quite connected.” Lady said it with a little bit of envy in her voice.

  The waiter came back with our drink.

  “It's not just my family that is my source of income.” I said it before I took a drink of my vodka.

  “Also, it's not just demons that you will be facing in the future, there are monsters that will pour out from a portal, some magus with some questionable agenda, some bzers with their heads on their ass thinking they are above everyone.” I shrugged my shoulders.

  “That is somewhat complicated.” Lady replied after she took a drink from her beer.

  “That’s the reality.” I replied.

  Lady said that she was also dwelling in magic to augment her offensive and I told her to master reinforcement magic for her body when in combat. I also told her to hire a teacher.

  “Thanks for the tip.” Both of us drink and after that, both of us tell our goodbye. Before I retrieve my bike from my dimensional bracelet, a portal suddenly emerges and sucks me in.
